Full Sequence of umpire Doug Eddings on a power trip

  1. Demanded that pitcher Hancel Rincon (in his MLB debut) straighten his hat since no one will wear a hat like that on "his field".

  2. Cardinals manager Oli Marmol went to talk to Eddings about the hat incident during a pitching change, Eddings gave the Cardinals a pitch clock violation and ejected Marmol.

  3. A couple batters later, with the Cardinals out of challenges, Eddings made a terrible call on a play at the plate to gift the Rockies the lead.

Clatter/ flutter at low rpm

2017 6 Sport. I just had the right motor mount replaced. I’m wondering if the transmission mount and the dogbone underneath need to be replaced as well. It makes this clatter/ rattle sound when I put it in gear, especially if the AC is on and the engine is warm.

Washington Fires

How are locals feeling about the prospect of a total smoke show over Labor Dave? I’m trying to decide between going to Denver or Gorge. Next week’s forecast looks like sunny so not much help from Mother Nature.

Apple CarPlay glitching

This may only affect people who are getting in and out of their car often and use wireless Apple CarPlay. I’ll be playing a podcast and it sounds fine. Then I get out of the car, CarPlay disconnects, then when I get back in the podcast is doing the skipping/glitching audio. Only fix is to listen to a different source and come back to overcast. Then it will sound fine again.

Doesn’t seem to be doing this with other apps I use like SiriusXM.

AC stopped working

It was around 112 F yesterday. I had been driving around all day making deliveries and one of the last ones got me really hot, so I turned on the MAX AC button for the first time ever. I don’t think it actually makes much difference, but I did cool off pretty well since the fan was full blast and the recirc was on.

I stopped to pick up my lunch and head home. When I got back in my car (2022 S hardtop), I immediately started smelling a plastic or electrical fire. I stopped on the other side of the parking lot and it dissipated pretty quickly after opening the hood. Never saw smoke. Then the AC stopped blowing cold air.

If you stop to get out of your car, you should turn Max AC off.

It seems like the compressor is still working because the idle rises when I turn it on. I suspect the radiator fan may have burned out? Something got overloaded. Have an appointment at the dealer Monday so will report back.
