2027 Paul Smith Convertible
After a couple of weeks trying to manifest my new car leaving Bayonne and getting to Allentown, PA, my first convertible is here. I know the special editions aren’t for everyone but I love this one so much!

Open to any tips or tricks or mods you recommend! Also any name suggestions welcome 🤗
Based on the f56 body and the f66 engine specs, this is roughly what I think it would look like. IMO doesnt make sense as an EV due to battery weight. WHICH means it probably will never get made.
BUT if you will it, it is no dream...
PS miss me about interior gripes.

I found this awesome 2013 Mini JCW on Carvana with just under 70k miles. The car looks sweet and I miss the older, smaller gen cooper's. I have two Mini GP3's now and I'm thinking if this is a solid add to my garage.
The wheels—I'm not 100% sold on, but I can easily change them.
Overall, at 70k miles, is this too risky or the perfect, cheap weekend or even fun daily car.
My 2017 Clubman (my fourth Mini) is in for repairs. My Loaner is the 2027 Countryman. Mini Cooper has lost its way. This car is not fun to drive. A Mini Cooper that isn't fun to drive??? Mind blown. It feels just like my husband's SUV. Boring. Clumsy. The door handles are terrible. How do you mess up a door handle?
The infotainment screen is a nightmare. I still despise the flippy button to shift into gear that started in the early 2000s. Mini followed the crowd and missed the mark. Mercedes is returning to knobs and shifters while limiting the interactive screen for a reason. The touchscreens are terrible.
The thing I love about Minis is the zippy driving, turning radius tight AF, and the simplistic controls. No huge learning curve. This thing I'm driving is a hazard. Nothing is intuitive. It's like getting a whole new OS for work instead of just being able to do have fun driving.
Been a while since I’ve been able to drive the Mini so was happy to find a rule one opportunity this morning!
$9,000 in repairs.
Insurance covered. Not at fault.
Someone hit the roof with a rock fractures of which i found near it. Its not so visible on the photos but it is bad. Im fucking speechless. 😞😞 My beauty is hit again.
Came from brand new 2015 and 2018 S convertibles. Sold them and missed em. Found a 2011 R57 in nice condition for the right price. Engine gaskets and seals were done by previous owner. Also, roof is new. I’m sure there’s still some maintenance to catch up on. Gonna switch out the tires to begin with.
I also need some simple mod suggestions. Already, one of the subs is dirty. Looking for replacement there. Maybe some suspension, brake, intake/exhaust, and some light interior stuff. Let’s say a budget of $3-4000. Would prob take to a shop for mechanical stuff. Thanks.
Long story short, I do a lot of km on my lil guy for work, and I would appreciate not having to step on the gas continuously. I’ve noticed it does have a cruise control light on the dash, but no obvious button/stalk for it. Anyone knows how I can install/retrofit it? Thanks a bunch
Guys help! I picked up this 03 cooper s and found a couple cables in the back, desperately trying to identify them before spending money 😓😅
Indigo Sunset Blue with white roof, Nightshade Vescin.
Hi everyone!
I’ve loosely been on a car hunt. Currently I have a 2020 Subaru Outback, which overall I enjoy! But I am not interested in their newer models.
I am curious how the Countryman does in the snow, and also more rugged roads but obviously not extreme off-roading.
I do lots of hiking, mountain biking, camping etc. im looking for a vehicle that has capability for adventures but also can be easily parked downtown. I really enjoy the overall look of the mini coopers they are so much fun. I saw online videos of mini coopers in snow but I wanted to hear from the people who actually owned them.
Thanks for your thoughts, cheers!
Edit:** To clarify, yes I will definitely purchase new snow tires and have no problem doing such. I currently have Nokian all seasons with the 3peak snow rating. I’m more interested in the AWD reaction time and handling as well as capability on more difficult features than paved roads that have been plowed. I know the newer countryman’s can have up to 7.9-8.0in of clearance which is beneficial in deeper snow conditions and or larger rocks when on dirt roads. (Not that I’m trying to rock crawl a mini cooper).
Some of you might remember me from last October when I was pitted and T boned.. safe to say maybe my BF aka my car Bentley (hahahahahaha) is stronger than I thought cause I’ll be driving him for a year in October after.
I can’t give him up. I don’t care if he’s a write off, I’ll fix him up myself. Just thought I’d share my idea and I’ll def be updating the ways I go.. first step is to do an oil change myself and we go from there!!
There’s a cheeky rule #1 I got the other week too.
