Minis in the snow?

Hi everyone!

I’ve loosely been on a car hunt. Currently I have a 2020 Subaru Outback, which overall I enjoy! But I am not interested in their newer models.

I am curious how the Countryman does in the snow, and also more rugged roads but obviously not extreme off-roading.
I do lots of hiking, mountain biking, camping etc. im looking for a vehicle that has capability for adventures but also can be easily parked downtown. I really enjoy the overall look of the mini coopers they are so much fun. I saw online videos of mini coopers in snow but I wanted to hear from the people who actually owned them.

Thanks for your thoughts, cheers!

Edit:** To clarify, yes I will definitely purchase new snow tires and have no problem doing such. I currently have Nokian all seasons with the 3peak snow rating. I’m more interested in the AWD reaction time and handling as well as capability on more difficult features than paved roads that have been plowed. I know the newer countryman’s can have up to 7.9-8.0in of clearance which is beneficial in deeper snow conditions and or larger rocks when on dirt roads. (Not that I’m trying to rock crawl a mini cooper).
