among the 9 (non deluxe) album closers: Pushing Me Away, Krwlng, Numb, The Little Things Give You Away, The Messenger, Powerless, A Line In The Sand, Sharp Edges, and Good Things Go, which is the best as a closer? I ask, because I’m actually in the minority of thinking Pushing Me Away is the best in terms of how well it closes the albums experience. I see a lot of people put this near bottom!? 

While not as GOOD as songs like TLTGYA, ALITS, and Powerless, I think that pushing me away combines all the great features of the previous songs and expands on those features. the iconic intro like in papercut. the great chester/mike contrast like in runaway, a place for my head, etc. the incredible bridge like with you, one step closer, all these songs come together to form this masterpiece of a song. Come on guys!

Hi, I have a medium sized mark on my left lower arm for 13 years now. I recently acquired a new one and it looks like a self harm mark. (My real self harm marks are not visible how ironic lol)

Long story short this is the perfect opportunity to cover these bitches up with a tattoo.

As a disturbingly big fan of the band, especially during my adolescent years, I was thinking of getting Chester’s flame tattoo as a tribute.

So if you got it, what are your thoughts? Does it hold up, being a colored piece I’m scared of longevity and bleeding.

Even if you don’t have the specific tattoo, if you are a tattoo enthusiast I would like to hear your thoughts!

I’d say BTH is probably not even in my top 10 LP songs. It’s good, but not one of my favourites (though it does contain one of my favourite bridges). What I find really cool about this song, however, is the intricacy of the chorus. By nature, choruses are repetitive. Or, perhaps, habitual. They are a repeated behaviour in a song. What BTH does in every chorus is add one modification: the first chorus differs from the second chorus by changing “I know it’s not alright” to “I’ll never be alright”. The third chorus differs from the second chorus by changing “I don’t know why I instigate, and say what I don’t mean” to “but now I have some clarity, to show you what I mean”. Essentially, just by altering some lyrics in each chorus, they are breaking the habit. There’s also no heavy guitar presence in the song, which by LP’s standards, is also breaking the habit. Cool song.

I just realized that chester's two of the favorite songs are literally their first song and last song.

Papercut, on the first place of their first released album. And sharp edges, in their last album(w chester) at the last place. (ik he also loved bth)

Mike has severa songs dedicated to his exceptional rapping and flow, some include : Step Up, High Voltage, When They Come For Me, All For Nothing, Etc. now, of them all, I think Mike stands out the most in When They Come For Me

its literally a big ol’ “F*ck you” to the fans, of course it stands out.
