Unpopular opinion? Xbox wasted Ninja Theory on 3 Senua games. 1 was enough.

In light of today’s unfortunate news, I’m just reminded of Xbox mismanaging of my favorite developers.

We didn’t need 2, let alone 3 of this series. Microsoft should’ve pushed them onto something different that would interest a bigger audience.

Best Games for OG Xbox?

I just picked up this OG Xbox for $35 on FB and it is a 1.6 version I believe. This is my first time with this console and wanted to know what games are a must play on the original Xbox, thanks!

Basically, according to Stephen Totilo's sources:

- Owners for Undead Labs and Ninja Theory should be revealed later this year (Undead Labs' owner sometime in the summer)

- Third-party funding for Game Pass has NOT been cut

- Platform team has been significantly downsized to reduce "bloat"

Microsoft lost 64 cents for every dollar they invested

This is from Asha Sharma memo sent today. I think this deserves its own thread, not to be buried U Der studios talk.

“We now find ourselves competing not only with the largest publishers, but also with smaller independent studios,” says Sharma. “It is neither possible nor desirable to own every great independent studio. We have also learned that we are not the best home for every type of studio; in a typical year, we lost 64 cents for every dollar we invested. As we reset Xbox, we will help independent creators succeed by providing open development tools and audiences to realize their vision.”

No wonder they had to cut so much bloat, this was unattainable for any profit oriented company. I simply can't believe how much money they were losing for years.

What do you guys think, how does the future of Xbox looks like?

I think Xbox is going to be slimmer.

Focus on the main titles, more exclusivity, cheaper/better but smaller game pass and a powerful cross between a classic console and a pc as their main flagship.

Even after all these news, I’m still hoping that Xbox is gonna change to the better. I love the brand and it hurts to see it like this.

What do you guys think?
