Were the ER requirements on her a lie? 190 ER to burst every rotation.

So She's C3 and she's in a team with Varka, Durin and Bennett.

On the dps dummy and in anyss, She couldn't burst regularly every rotation until I got her to 190 ER (I use fav, but I ain't Critting so forget about that part)

After doing testing, the bennett burst buff doesn't contribute to her attack.

My rotation goes like this: durin EQ, Prune EEQ, Bennett QE or EQ. Varka E Na Ca 4Na E 4Na E Na Ca. This is the optimal combo on him.

I find it extremely hard ro get her to higher attacks. I'm currently at like 2300 with some mid artifacts, but after doing some calcs, I can probably get her to 2700- 2800 with insanely good pulls.

After doing calcs with an attack scaling weap, she can reach 3000-3100 but that's with attack on all of her artifacts.

Yeah, I calcukated the substats as well. Attack and flat attack, and ER.

With this setup, with rolls only on attack and ER, I'm reaching maybe 150 ER, and that's not enough to buest every rotation.

Man, they really made her in a way that they can screw us up.

That event weapon is perahps the only one that can work with both worlds, unless you have a 5 star

In a way, I'm glad they don't seem to be doing event weapons anymore, cause man, as someone who started later, I hate how I missed all of the good ones. Now they can just make the craftables better

How much attack does she need?

So I see people saying she needs 4000, but what cou ts towards that?

My attack in the menu, out of combat is like 2300. Should that be 4000, or does she get any from her passives?

What should the number in the stats menu be out of combat? 3000? 4000?

I'm not gonna lie, I prefer the old outfit. I hope it's a skin

I think she looked more unique in her npc outfit. I liked the longer dress more. I really hope they will gove it to us as a skin.

Why were people expecting *spoilers* to be a formidable opponent? [KCD2]

I'm talking about Istvan Toth. Ever since the game came out, I kept seeing people saying that Toth was an underwhelming fight, that they expected something more and how the fight was over in seconds.

Well, if you choose a certain option, the game even says it straight to your face. "I defeated Zizka".

It's clear that at this point, Henry is a beast. And Istvan is a fat noble and a coward. Idk why people were expecting him to be some master swordsman when all he does is play dirty, taking women hostage and that sort of shit.

I love that the game gave us the satisfaction to actually duel him, but I think that even a beat up henry could have literally fucked him up with his bare hands, seeing the level of adrenaline he felt at that time.

So what are your thoughts? Do you agree that the fight was underwhelming and anticlimactic? I personally think that it was handled brilliantly.

Should you go for more CR or more CD. Well after some testing, here's the answer: Focus on getting 100 CR

This is done on the dummy, with the same teams and everything. The difference of 50 CD might seem like a lot, but the overall damage can be significantly lower if you don't have 100 CR.

Also since I'm hitting crits 100% of the time, with Varka, I'm assuming that the damage difference comes from Bennett, chev and sucrose and weather they hit crits or nah. Please feel free to provide an explanation if you can. It would be appreciated.

Also used the exact same rotation every time and the timing was pretty strict. So I doubt some buffs ran out.

This is not dps, but the total damage after the same exact number of attacks each time.

Why I'm getting Durin over Nicole

So I know a lot of people seem to agree that nicole is better for Varka, however, Durin would just upgrade my other teams and he even has DPS potential.

At this moment in time, my teams are Varesa, Varka, Skirk and Arlecchino. Well, Durin would be a massive improvement to 3 of those teams.

He's in the probably strongest Arle Team right now (overload)

He's also only slightly worse than Mavuika in Varesa teams

He's a goated sub dps for varka. Bis

He can also work as a main dps.

So even tho the numbers say that Nicole is a bit better for overal Varka dps, Durin is still more versatile and would also upscale my other teams.

A shielder would be nice for varka, but I'm not getting launched around for 99% of the time. And Arlecchino is a self-sustaining machine with her burst heal, while Varesa rarely gets hit because of her plunges, and even when she does, the chevreuse heal is insanely strong.

If she's going to be BIS for a snezhnaya team I enjoy, I might pull on a rerun, but for the time being, Durin it is

Why I absolutely love the inclusion of the Unseen Elder in Blood and Wine

Imo, the games have made geralt a bit too much of a badass and a bit too powerful. It makes perfect sense from a gameplay perspective, but then we get something like GOD and the unseen elder. Obstacles that are not exactly faced through gameplay, but more through narrative.

Many people praise Gaunter o'dimm and it's well deserved. Imo, he's one of the most interesting and intriguing characters in gaming. Characters usually have arcs, or they're not interesting or important enough to warrant themselves an arc, but Gaunter? Well the HoS events are basically a fleeting moment for him. He's been around and will be around for far longer. Yet, we, as geralt, can still beat him. Is that the case with the unseen elder? Not really. We merely survive the encounter. We must act in a specific way to avoid being speedblitzed by him.

Yeah, we could make the argument that O'dimm could have killed geralt just as easily, but the fact of the matter is, he didn't, and I'm sure there is a reason for it. Idk exactly what powers do contracts hold over him, but he did kill that poor sod, with a spoon, just on a whim.

The unseen elder is different ona fundamental level. He doesn't delight in trickery or tormenting souls, like O'dimm does. He is in fact annoyed with mostly everyone else. And while geralt managed to defeat O'dimm, I think there's nothing he can do to the elder.

Geralt is not even able to kill higher vampires, as they will regenerate in the end. He doesn't even stand a chance against an elder. So this feeling that he's not all powerful and more vulnerable, like in the books, is quite refreshing.

Pantalone is slightly taller than Wrio but still not as tall as Varka

Might even be taller than flins by a very small margin

How are you liking Varka's gameplay?

I'm not gonna lie, when I first saw the nod krai trailer, I was over the moon (no pun intended) to finally see Varka, however Flins also caught my eye and I was convinced I was gonna pull. He's almost my ideal design, looks wise, but then we saw his gameplay, and I was very disappointed.

Not only that, every other nod krai dps is boring af to play. There's just something extremely dissatisfying about how flins, nefer and Zibai play.

As much as I think that Nod krai is miles better than Natlan in every way, the kits of characters like Kinich, varesa, chasca and mavuika are a lot more fun that the lunar trio.

This is why I think Varka is the most fun Nod Krai dps. The hits have that crunch, they look cool and powerful and I don't even wanna talk about the phec variety and how much more it adds to his kit.

I really hope we go back to more fun kits and gameplay in snezhnaya

Actual calcs for Varka teams with only durin/only nicole?

So I'm really not sure who I should pull for. I hear people say that Durin will add more dps but nicole is more useful. I really need to make the right choice, as this will be the final varka team for me.

So does anyone have calcs for a Varka, prune, bennett and nicole/durin team

I wanna see both and compare

R1 Tidal Shadow vs R1 Serpent Spine

So after using the tidal shadow for a while, with prune and the upgrade in damage, my very low budget varka can become competitive again. So I was thinking that I should get a weapon upgrade.

I can only find R5 tidal shadow numbers and Serpent spine with no full stacks.

Do you think it would be worth the upgrade? I might have an offer to get the battlepass for half price, but don't let that influence your decision.

So, what are your thoughts? Go for Serpent Spine or nah.

Man, I really need that mod support on console.

It's been like 2 years since I last played the game. I've been dying to replay it again, but I wanted to wait for mod support. Sadly ever since the delay, we heard nothing. This is pretty sad. We aslo had a lot of rumors about the alleged May DLC, but again, it's nowhere to be found, and I doubt we'll see it at this point.

I mainly wanted a transmog system cause some low level items are beyond drip, and maybe a playable ciri in the open world mod.

Now that the dust has settled, Varka is the most valuable limited 5 star for new players.

I remember back when I started playing, people were encouraging me to try and get a dps for each element. And I think that's a good move for newer players.

Now imagine you get a 5 star that can do 5 types of damage and do very respectable damage with a One Cost Team!

That's right, for new players, if You get Varka and hopefully prune, you can get a bunch of great choices for his teams. Xiangling and fischl are both free, you can get bennett from the store, and you'll also have the other Knights of Favonius for free (amber, Lisa and Kaeya)

If you don't get prune, you just pick up sucrose instead of fischl.

Even in low constellation teams with characters that don't have the greatest synergies, you can get to around 50-80k PHEC dps. Which is insanely high value!

Personally, If I were to somehow just start genshin today, I would go for Varka no questions asked!

Black Lord's Overcoat guaranteed location Finally! (see all 3 images) [KCD2]

So if you missed the one from the alchemist at Rabstein, you can get one 100% guaranteed in the apothecary's shop, on the second floor! His brother wears one, and you can loot it at night from the chest or knock him out and loot it off him!

The lighter black version can be found on this Johannes von Gelnhausen guy, found in Kuttenberg, just as you enter from where Henry's forge is! Again, this is a lighter black version. The guy is standing around so you can probably follow him to his burrow or until he gets to some secluded alley and knock him out.

That should be all. Ik a lot of people want this, and it's a pain to find. Now you can rock the look!

The other pieces are the abbot's hood from the 3rd dlc (you can return to the monstery after the ending and rob the abbot), riding gloves and vagrant shoes! Gets to 30 charisma only with a ring in case you wanna wear the grasses too

Remiel is another ether agent and now I feel scammed

I pulled for the entire AoD team 💀. Just for them to fall off after only 2 patches? Aria is most definitely cooked cause there's no way a void hunter isn't outdamaging her.
