I tried plugging it in but it doesnt come up,but it gets power as it vibrates when i plug the cabe in, i dont know what else to do as i have been trying to repair it for the last 6 hours
yesterday my girlfriends xbox showed this after i tried playing gtav, and when i press close and try to open the game again the xbox will just shut off. and if i turn the xbox on and leave it idle for about 5-10 minutes it will shut off. everytime it turns back on after shutting off it shows a "how to properly prevent overheating" popup. i just got this xbox about 4 months ago brand new from walmart and have been using it daily, and just yesterday this started happening. i waited 24 hours and tried to start it up again but it showed this message (the picture) AGAIN after playing gtav for about 7 minutes. someone please help, i tried reducing video resolution and disaing hdr because thats what google told me to do. as you can see in the picture aswell my xbox is fully able to breath and its not even warm when i touch it. this is my gfs xbox and shes at my house, i also have an xbox series s digital edition like hers, but it is a few years old and i have never got this message popup EVER, and most of the time if i touch my xbox after its been on for a while its burning hot like a damn stovetop. i just dont know what to do at this point. (the reason her xbox is here is because we have 2 TVs in my room and we are trying to play gtav online together in the same room) i would also like to mention that i have tried using a different power cord, hdmi cord, and tv and the xbox still shows this every single time. someone please helppp
genuinely it was fine earlier i played minecraft dungeons for hours, i turn it on and its completely screwed. i’ve reset it twice and even unplugged it fully and it still isn’t fix i have no clue whats happened
UPDATE: I plugged it into a new TV and it worked - but aim worried about it happening again in the future? if there’s any advice you guys have that’d be great
Title basically, I've taken the console apart and cleaned everything out, even though there wasn't even any dust inside, but the console is hot as hell to the touch and is shutting down.
Is it a repair shop kinda job?
Or could I just be at the beginning of the console's death?
I've had it since around the third month of the console's release.

I lost access to my old Xbox account after getting a new Xbox. I sold the old console and don't remember the email address or Gamertag. I remember the login PIN and some purchases/Game Pass linked to the account.

Trying to play l4d2 , I’ve been playing for a year now - I was even playing a hr ago and randomly said I’m signed out of Xbox live? My Xbox one says WiFi is good and I’m online but when I try to play l4d2 it says I’m offline and can’t sign in ???
Edit 2: nvm still randomly signing me out
Edit 1 : my friend reset my console , and it’s working now.
First after reset I loaded game up and it’s signed me in then out .
I got mad raged for 7mins . Came back , prayed tried to sign in again .. then it magically signed me back online ☺️❤️!

Hi, I've had an Xbox for 3-4 years now but out of the blue my purchases didnt work, everytime I've tried to buy something in the Xbox store it says "oops something happened" and it doesn't let me do anything, so I've tried buying on Microsoft and the Xbox app, because of an error I've bought the window version of the product I was trying to buy (auric cells for dead by daylight) and now it says they denied my refund request so I'm trying to understand why because when I read it says that "it's denied due to refund policy" the only thing I could find it's the bot that tells me that if I've used the product I can't refunded it but the thing is, I can't use or even see the product, can someone help me? I would like to know why my Xbox store doesn't allow me to buy anything without an error and why I can't refund the purchase

Hello! I got a second hand Xbox One S, and after troubleshooting a couple of items, I get a very weird date for the last update (before I purchased the console I believe). Is this ok? Will the console be able to update in the future?
I no longer have access to an Xbox that I used regularly, and my Microsoft profile is still on that console.
When I had the Xbox, I could select my profile and sign in without entering a PIN or password. I have now changed my Microsoft account password and enabled two-step verification.
I have some captures/screenshots that were saved locally on that Xbox only and were never uploaded to the Xbox network.
If someone turns on that Xbox and selects my profile, will they still be able to access it and see my local captures? Or will Xbox eventually ask for my new password/sign-in information because I changed my password?
Is there any way to remotely force that Xbox to require my new credentials or remove my profile from it?
Recently went to use my Xbox series x, will not power on. No sounds or anything. I also tried plugging directly into the wall and still nothing.
I thought it may be a power supply issue.
Ordered a new power supply. When installed the new power supply makes a chirping noise. When not installed it makes no noise when plugged in. It only makes the chirping noise when plugged into the wall when the larger connector is installed. Makes no difference with the smaller connector.
The older power supply does not make any noise. Installed or plugged in or not.
Could it be a power supply issue still? Or is it something larger with the system or board itself?
This wasn't a thing till recently because I played this awhile back and it wasn't an issue, I know I'm not the only one this is happening to from what I read but is there a solution to this?
I now got 4 sets of charger able batteries two of the the first one 6,200 is usable however the 6,600 one. I couldn't find any charger stations or blocks like any for it online so anyone got links for charger for these

Im so tired of this its been almost a full year of it being broken ,ive talked to yoti support and thry just say its xboxes problem and then I talk to xbox support and the AI just walks me through the steps and when I say nothing is working it says theres “no other side steps to help”
