As the title suggests, how do you justify pulling a character? Meta? Character design? I’m caught at a crossroad here because I like Hsin, but since I’m f2p and I don’t grind very often, I don’t know if I should pull her; especially cause she is apparently very weak as of now (not meta) so should I still pull her or just wait for a better character to come out? Also, please tell me what constitutes pulling/investing in a character!

So I am a very new player and I started the game when there was 7-8 days left on jingrans banner. Pulled him and his sig, and pulled Iuno from the new voyage banner.

Apparently SK was in the old beginner banner and is no longer there nor she will rerun anytime soon.

I saw people say how insanely good she is and I assume she will just keep getting locked behing paywalls. With the amount of popularity she has I take this as truth.

I only spent like 15$ or smth in this game since I don't have disposable income.

Do we have any hope that SK reruns or that she doesn't get gatekept or will she be forever locked behind spending events?

I started the day hsin released (not planned) so not even a week old player.

I got hsin and her sig early and decided to try for an early chisa (didn't get her but at 60-something pity which is way above "early" so I stopped)

It seems like lynae is a no brainer for a new player like me and suoming might be needed too I guess since I already have hsin and her sig (I also really like hsin's gameplay)

Now to my conundrum, chisa is apperently a a must-have for the best main dps units including hiyuki which I eventually want to get. I am not a complete meta-slave but I like clearing content so this got me in a bind.

Honestly, I don't really like chisa's gameplay despite my love for kill la kill but fun characters seem to be built around her ability to increase stack count of neg statuses or apply her status. Though i heard lynae also works with hiyuki and hiyuki looks fun as hell.

What made sense on my mind is going for lynae and suoming and then eventually also getting suisui or mornyne and then hiyuki. I know I should probably get lucilla instead of lynae if I want a sub-dps/buffer with hiyuki but getting a character for a single team seems like a waste considering how versatile lynae seems to be.

I will probably do the spending reward thingie for shorekeeper but won't pay outside of monthly afterwards. How should I spread my currency among all these banners?

As an extra question, can you get majority of the rotating endgame currency without meta teams? I plan to run lynae+HRover as a second team for now.

Edit: I understood that flexibility isn't good in this game and mechanic enablers are much more important so lynae dropped in terms of priority in my eyes.

Already get Hsin and guaranteed for Suoming is Mornye s0r0 good enough? I don’t plan to pull Lily and I don’t have Shorekeeper.

I have a question. I went all out on Hiyuki and got her to S6. I was told to get Hiyuki with Chisa and I was also told to try Lucilla. Which one should i prioritize out of the 2 to get Hiyuki to hit harder? I dont have either characters yet. Should I try for Chisa now or save up for Lucilla.

I have been grinding the game for 3 days now just saving to pull for Hsin. Already pulled 5 times and one 5 star i got was Verina.

How do i efffectively grind astrites if i play the game for 6 hours a day?

I am new and my first 5star is Hsin and unfortunately I didn’t get a single buling, I have verina S2 can I use Hsin Erover and Verina, ik it’s already pretty budget, and I don’t have her sig yet I am at 30 pity on the weapon banner can I get Hsin weapon?

Hello fellow Rovers, I wanna ask about Hsin value for upcoming patches in the game tho.

Now I have RC1 Jinhsi with her sign, benched in my account for more than a year and i don't have any dedicated sub for her (tbh I have Zhezhi, but occupied by Carlotta once I made her home at 1st anniv).

When I heard Hsin can be one of Jinhsi's BiS, I was relieved that she wouldn't be homeless anymore. But Hsin is also the main DPS, that makes me think twice to make this fox lady home.

There's 3 reasons for it:

1. I'm afraid that her potential might not be maximum only to fill my Jinhsi's team (note: I don't have any plan to pull Suoming and won't plan to get her in the future for some reasons)

2. I'm at a rate on state (32 pity) which I plan that guarantee for Sigrika's rerun (note: I accidentally pulled Qiuyuan at her debut and he's benched at my account too) as well with soft pity sign (50 pity)

3. Hsin banner is just out in this patch. I've seen some calculation platforms that she's doing well with Jinhsi as a double DPS team, but i don't really trust the calculation since actual damage rotation will be different and too many variables are excluded at the calculation

Note: my account is pretty decent with 5 teams (1.0 player) and can clear all of the end game content fluently (including matrix), so my purpose pulling this lady fox is filling my Jinhsi's team as a second dps

What option should I do for now for Hsin?

1. Pull her immediately and her sign while waiting for Sigrika's rerun

2. Wait for her next rerun to get her actual guides and rotations so I can decide after that

3. Full skipping her since she'll be wasted in my account and save the guarantee for Sigrika

I'll really appreciate it for y'all's options (more explanation would be better)
