I started the day hsin released (not planned) so not even a week old player.

I got hsin and her sig early and decided to try for an early chisa (didn't get her but at 60-something pity which is way above "early" so I stopped)

It seems like lynae is a no brainer for a new player like me and suoming might be needed too I guess since I already have hsin and her sig (I also really like hsin's gameplay)

Now to my conundrum, chisa is apperently a a must-have for the best main dps units including hiyuki which I eventually want to get. I am not a complete meta-slave but I like clearing content so this got me in a bind.

Honestly, I don't really like chisa's gameplay despite my love for kill la kill but fun characters seem to be built around her ability to increase stack count of neg statuses or apply her status. Though i heard lynae also works with hiyuki and hiyuki looks fun as hell.

What made sense on my mind is going for lynae and suoming and then eventually also getting suisui or mornyne and then hiyuki. I know I should probably get lucilla instead of lynae if I want a sub-dps/buffer with hiyuki but getting a character for a single team seems like a waste considering how versatile lynae seems to be.

I will probably do the spending reward thingie for shorekeeper but won't pay outside of monthly afterwards. How should I spread my currency among all these banners?

As an extra question, can you get majority of the rotating endgame currency without meta teams? I plan to run lynae+HRover as a second team for now.

Edit: I understood that flexibility isn't good in this game and mechanic enablers are much more important so lynae dropped in terms of priority in my eyes.

So, I have E1 Lotan, E2 Ghelot and 1 dupe item. I am also exactly at 2 standarts and 89 pulls on the GLotan banner. I wanted to at least E2 Glotan so that I can E3 both of them...

As if I was so unlucky so that I would understand this (Copium mentality), I realised that it's a huge waste to use this "chance" (Inhale the copium - Exhale the copium) for dupe and instead I should just get another dupe item in 2 or somethings days and get just Glotan to E3 since it's better to use the %100 pull for another character right? Like the upcoming character that seems to have been teased (I won't use it on mouchette before anyone recommends. I know it's the obvious choice but I don't like her playstyle)

I have been just doing dailies in this game for a few months. I stopped playing the main story on chapter 8 or 9. I kind of want to read this one instead of just skipping for rewards since I liked enigma a lot back in... vereinsamt iirc? Does it spoil any main story stuff that I need to play beforehand?

So, what exactly is an "awakener" in this story? I don't remember skipping any story but am very confused.

I am a newbie. Whenever I search for something, the entire search is just a content farm channel named "flares" who just screams about how much he hates every character. I tried watching/reading some of his stuff but he straight up goes "this unit sucks, don't pull because I hate it" with no info as to why. I am not gonna argue about what content people like, to each to their own but isn't there at least a page like prydwen or a channel like IWinToLose for this game with actual info?

FIRST OF ALL: I don't mean better or worse kind of compare. I mean the differences and similarities.

R1999 is my favorite gacha for the sole fact that I love the art, voice acting and most importantly, the extremely good story (Shit, I am glazing it again)

I saw morimens long ago and it seemed to carry a similar yet distinct vibe to R1999 (in a good way) so I got curious about it but got bombarded with people saying it's a rotting corpse and I shouldn't start a dying game which apperently was false or got turned around or something.

Oh also, I am not a "meta slave" but I do want to be ABLE to clear high-end stuff and pull for chars so I would appreciate information about the currency for f2p.

EDIT: Thanks for everyone's detailed responses. I expected people to just give 1-2 sentence answers at most and thought most people wouldn't bother but this community seems to REALLY like this game. It felt less like I was getting info about a game and more like I was getting inducted into a cult and was learning about it's rules.

And I am into that shit so I am starting the game lol.

(Seriously though, even if the game didn't seem good, the sheer passion that made so many people give so many long and detailed responses by itself makes me wanna try the game)

I just realised while watching YT shorts that... I guess a lot of us started to like SCP/Anomaly stories with doctor who?

Like doctor who DOES fit the scp media. There is weird stuff that are not known, weird stuff do weird things, Doctor knows how to use or stop the weird stuff.

Apperently a lot of people including me did start liking these types of stories with doctor who and wondered if this was a general thing.
