I am looking for good guides for writing SCPs.

My first SCP was a cold post and did great, but my new SCPs are getting deleted even though I am getting critiques. I want to read (or listen to hopefully) some good guides to write better. I know comparing myself to others is a bad thing to do, but I'm comparing myself to myself and it's disappointing.

Thanks,

Have other people gotten into "anomaly" stuff with doctor who?

I just realised while watching YT shorts that... I guess a lot of us started to like SCP/Anomaly stories with doctor who?

Like doctor who DOES fit the scp media. There is weird stuff that are not known, weird stuff do weird things, Doctor knows how to use or stop the weird stuff.

Apperently a lot of people including me did start liking these types of stories with doctor who and wondered if this was a general thing.

What does UAE mean?

Mekhane, the broken god is known to the foundation as UAE-Aleph-015. So what does UAE mean in the SCP universe?

Scp-001 Thoughts & Opinions

I’ve always really liked “The Prototype” concept for SCP-001. There’s something especially interesting about the idea that the first SCP wouldn’t be some cosmic god or reality-breaking entity, but instead a relatively simple, primal monster discovered by children in a remote part of Guatemala. It feels believable that their first encounter would be something grounded like this. What are your thoughts?

What is your headcanon on O5-1's identity?

There's something I really like about The Dead Man. It just scratches an itch none of the other O5-1 iterations on the O5 Command Dossier do.

O5-13 theory

The O5 council, everyone knows them, they're the big dogs of the foundation, the men in suits, the big bosses, whatever you wanna call them. And they're 13,

so my theory is about O5-13 some say he doesn't exist and he's just there for a tiebreaker but I'm thinking...and hear me out.

What if at one point the foundation approached a normal ass guy that doesn't know shit about the foundation and we're like "hello kind sir would like to participate in a real time strategy role play game on the course of several years with other people?" And the guy accepts it and that guy who again I will remind you doesn't know anything about the foundation's existence other than "oh this is some weird game I'm playing...nice :)" is actually O5-13 and he gets on his phone or tablet every like week or so a decision like "Make a test where we put SCP-926 and SCP-2890 together in a room to see what happens if a D-class interacts with both at the same time" and he can tap to see scp-926's file and scp-2890's file and to tap agree or disagree and bro thinks this is all made up it's a role play game not real

Question for some SCP readers who are some great Serpent hands members?

As the title says but yeah I'm curious who y'all favorite members within that group and why if you don't mind answering that.

Question for frequent readers of the main site with pc browser on tag filtering

Hey guys, im currently reading the scp articles starting from 5000 onwards. I encountered a few concepts that doesnt really click with me (looking at you; scps that shouldve been a tale). Is there a way to filter those scps out just in the wiki dot site alone.

Disclaimer: its not that i dislike it, but for longer tales i prefer to read them like a series .

Trying to find an SCP I read before but lost.

There was an SCP article, a short one that I really liked. It was about an anomaly that caused a person to repeatedly use a single word more and more in conversation, until it became the only thing that they could use; and the article itself demonstrated this by being infected with the anomaly itself.

Can't find it anymore, would like to know if anybody remembers it and could share it.

Can someone please help me track down the original creator of this image??

I found this image on Pinterest randomly and after multiple searches landed on this thread but I can't figure out the origins of this image. I wish to contact the original creator for a project I am currently working on. Thanks!!

We are attempting to build every existing SCP in Minecraft.

All 10,000 standard SCPs currently in existence, all EX SCPs and all Jokes. I am looking for some volunteers who are very familiar with both Minecraft and SCP and are willing to help us accomplish this colossal, practically neverending project. (Don't bother saying "tHaT's ImPoSsIbLe!" We're doing it ANYWAY.)
