i'm sick of reading scp articles and suddenly there's something like: "mobile task force omega-alpha-42069 or whatever the authors come up with at the spot, if there's a special ocassion for it, to me it's ok, but then they suddenly invent 10 new mtfs just to do the SAME things again and again

I heard about this new thing called lost scps and I did a little research on it and I’m having trouble understanding it. Can anyone in the SCP community help me to understand how lost scps are different and how I should write my own? I’m really interested in this.

why is there a content warning saying that you have to be 18 to view certain articles when in the rules it says that you need to be 18 to be a member of the site? isn't it redundant?

Hello everyone! I'm currently working on a canon centered around the Horizon Initiative GOI called Flamma Fidei Numquam Deficiat — May the Flame of Faith Never Fail. Hopefully, this will grow into a pretty large canon.

I need your help choosing a term to refer to the various regional divisions of the HI that isn't simply "regional branches." Here are some ideas I've come up with so far:

● Concords ●Communions ●Patriarchates ●Dioceses ●Circles ●Flocks ●Orders ●Jurisdictions ●Mandates ●Provinces ●Hemispheres ●Sees (very religious, inspired by ecclesiastical jurisdictions).
