Hm. So firstly, who is Spooky Pictures? What are their (yes I’m referring companies as they later on, even if singular) place in the film? While A24 is way more frequently mentioned and bearing most proportions of blames/j, they are, rather, the financier of the film, meaning that they don’t really participate into  production, depending on the definition. And that is the very point here: Spooky Pictures are the main production company here.

That could mean:

• A24 forgot to inform other cooperating companies to perform the same i.e. saying absolutely nothing with them.
• Spooky Pictures themselves decided to break the silence.

Either way, it’s pretty safe to assume that SP clearly know the License and what it do now.

However, it’s necessary to note that the progress is at most into a “negotiation” stage, instead of a guarantee. But tbh, I personally would say that it’s not likely to end up with a clear statement of not complying, going completely against the community, it simply just doesn’t make any sense to obviously be a dik towards exactly the target audience, that just pushes the PR cost to the skies. Or, is it?

Regardless, sounds like something is changing.

Thanks to this comment in… this video. I don’t really know if this appropriate or not but the subreddit rule says that. I know this recently has become a periodic or even overdone topic like those 173 and 096 sorta, but allow me to ask for this. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if this’s getting removed.

I looked into the Reddit for a bit and no one is talking about it, very unexpected for me. So actually, is it really going to result in A24 getting essentially nothing to derive in SCP?

I was the one doing the translation. Impressive enough, right? But why though?

So, the CN Branch right now is pretty "hyped" about this article, so hyped that I’m translating this and by that INSANELY QUICKLY. But why though? The rate graph of this article shown by SCPPER-CN, which you may check so here, shows that in just the past 2 months, this article got a whooping TWO HUNDRED DOWNVOTES in HALF A MONTH, bringing it from 500 (and a bit ten more) to 320.

This, is indeed shocking. As you may wonder, except mal-votes, how did - may I rephrase, how is this happening? Well it's the Goddamn social media. In fact, few months ago, a video, instead, raised the article's vote rapidly, but what's the video about? It's just… reading the article out, nothing else. But the recent one 'bout this? PURE SMEARING. This is not a joke, but what it is.

Yet I feel like it should have NOT suffer this. This article, for sure, can have some improvement, but it’s far beyond so-called “trash.” It belongs as well to the Foundation, and its emotion emphasis makes the article a shining star.
