Where would you live in [KCD2], and why?
If you could live in any of KCD2's villages and cities, where you choose and why?
I absolutely love Miskowitz!
The tree, the pond, the way the village is built around it. It's definitely my virtual KCD2 home village.
[KCD2] I was really struggling with this fight when I realized I could just…
What the kurva is going on here.... [KCD2]
and yes, i have mods...
[KCD1] Does anyone know what happened to this guy in [KCD2]
If you don’t remember this was istvans lackey who tortured Henry at vranik and escaped with him from talmberg, It seems like he was removed from the lore cuz in the vranik flashback in kcd2 when Henry was being tortured he was replaced with Erik.
[KCD2] Poisons and Stealth
Finished my latest playthrough of KCD2 as a stealth-focused character. I found that, at least toward the end of the game, no one slept in villages or camps. They were always walking around and also I poisoned a lot of food pots and wine barrels, but no one consumed them.
So, has anyone noticed if there's a point to this? Is it even possible to poison enemy soldiers?
It’s a weird detail, but I bloody LOVE wearing a coif. Nothing more medieval for me [KCD2]
[KCD2] There's another Henry out there now.
She took almost two weeks but she finally made it! (I know there are approximately 44,432,432 posts like this on this sub. Not without reason, as it turns out.)
I want to preface this by saying I nearly quit. A million times, probably.
I died to >!Straw!< approximately a thousand times. I forgot to distill the >!fever tonic and only realised when Henry muttered it to himself before planing to sprint through Trosky Castle as the bells were tolling.!< I couldn't find the right tower. I couldn't sneak past a single guard, I couldn't stealth kill, I didn't even own a dagger, I had no idea where to put bolts or arrows, my vitality was 5. FIVE. Unsurprisingly, I died twenty-odd times at For Victory and eventually (tearfully) reloaded a save from before the balcony conversation and just... went back out into the world.
The European heatwave came. I've locked myself in. And then, slowly, something shifted.
I didn't just grind. I started actually looking at things; listening to the small dialogues; reading journal entries. Reading the codex and falling down a rabbit hole about 1403 Bohemia (after officially going to bed, mind you, not being able to stop thinking about the game) that I did not see coming because this is a game that apparently checked the actual night sky of early summer 1403 to get the star constellations right. Simply because it's... true, I guess.
Turns out the world our boys move through is real in a way I couldn't have imagined; not a backdrop for some knightly story, but a specific place you can now enter. >!Hans Capon is based on a real nobleman. Jan Zizka is real. The village of Skalice really was razed by Sigismund's forces.!< (I know, I know. Getting ahead of myself. But guys, I've bought books on this. BOOKS.) Our guy Henry is only fictional because blacksmiths' sons usually don't make it into the chronicles.
Long story short: I let Henry's hair grow out. Let him become whoever he is, or whoever he is in my version of the story anyway. I won groschen at fistfights. Both of us surprised, honestly, that he's any good at it. I learned to rob and lockpick. I stole when I had to, but never without reason, or at least never without a reason I (or my Henry) could live with. I walked everywhere overencumbered like an absolute idiot until I wasn't an idiot anymore.
And then today, finally: Mutt my beloved! The reunion sequence. And when Henry sent him off and drew his sword without hesitation for once, without that old familiar panic, I had to put the controller down for a second. But no rest for the wicked, right, because on the way home: ambush. This time, no running. Fighting, triumphing, looting as the Lord intended.
So here we are, friends. This is it. This is what a game can actually do. Sincerely and with much love, a lit major, humbled, in Bohemia, who had no goddamn clue.
You've got me now. Jesus Christ be praised!
Small personal note, because it feels somewhat relevant. My longtime partner and now ex for years never let me play (Witcher, Zelda, what have you), always with the explanation that I'm a girl and inherently bad at games, so I'd better watch and cheer instead. It left me genuinely scared of combat, of failing, of even trying. I was so close to giving up on this one too. I can't put into words how glad I am I didn't.
[OTHER] You’re a good doggy eh, Mutt? - sharing my friends dog aka Mutt’s twin
Hello! This is my friends dog, I wanted to share cause I think she looks sooooo much like Mutt! I’ve never seen another dog that resembles him so much, so I’d thought some people might like to see her!
[KCD2] what henry sees Vs what hans sees
So i decided to replay from start and during the figthing tutorial i pressed F1 and Jesus Christ , henry face is fucking terrifing
[KCD2] Am I the only one who doesn't want to use this perk ?
I already got to choose this perk long time ago but never used it because I wanted to explore everything by myself now have 30 in every skill still haven't used this lol. Feels like map hacks
Lost in Kuttenberg Region [KCD2]
Doesn’t matter how many hours I’ve played both Kingdom Come Deliverances, I still get freaking turned around on hardcore mode when I’m traveling across the country. Ended up leaving Kuttenberg traveling to Opatowitz, and just when I thought I was arriving after ten minutes of horseback on country roads…. I’m riding through the gates of Kuttenberg, and then it dawns on me. ******* hell where was I just going to again?
[KCD2] "I will play KCD2 properly, not stealing everything like in KCD1" - 20 hours in ...
[KCD1] Sebastian... Are you ok?
Was talking to Sebastian vom Berg and I guess he was feeling a bit contemplative after the whole Johanka situation and needed to pace around a bit to collect his thoughts
This is my second play through and I have 2 complaints. [KCD2]
All the quest weapons, iconic weapons, are primarily swords. It does not encourage different fighting style in that there is no mace like the Sir Radzig Sword. Or no warhammer like the Toledo Steel Sword. No Glave like the St Valentine Sword. It would be cool to have a variety of iconic weapons. Instead they are all basic.
Your horse does not require any grooming or feeding. This part just doesn't make sense to me. Henry requires contant food and laundry care, so why not his horse? I know it seems like it would be tedious. But grooming your horse in RDR2 wasn't bad. I actually liked it. Perhaps it could even provide a speed or stamina buff as an incentive! Anyway I think that was a missed opportunity.
I found the monastery [kcd2]
I don’t know why but it remembers me a lot the monastery from Mystery Ecclesiae dlc
