[other] Do you guys think the Middle Earth game should look more like the movies or follow the descriptions in the books or have their own style and interpretation of Tolkein's world?

For me personally, I would love there to be an option at the start where you get to choose if the world should look like the movies or Warhorse's interpretation of Middle Earth.

The art on the left is by Weta Workshop (Movie concept art) and the art on the right is by Tom Romain (Book accurate Art).

When they say they are making a middle earth and KCD game, I hope this is what they mean [OTHER]

Perhaps Henry does some mushrooms or something and ends up in Middle Earth

Edit: Lot's of butthurt people here about AI for a meme. But the majority of people seem to have enjoyed it so I'm glad most have had fun until they delete this lol

[OTHER] What do you think?

As Henry drifted out of consciousness, bloodbath everywhere, his father Racek's body beyond recognition... it all went black.

Warhorse confirms they are working on a Lord of the Rings game

So apparently the Kingdom Come developers are working on an open-world Middle-earth RPG. After seeing how beautiful and immersive KCD1 and KCD2 are, I can't wait to see what they can do with The Lord of the Rings. I would love to see the Shire captured with this kind of pacing and atmosphere, though I also hope for more weapon variety and possibly a third-person camera option. What are you most excited about, and what would you like to see improved?

Shit just got real [KCD2][SPOILER]

>!This game just went from "Bohemian Walking Simulator" to "Game of Thrones Season 3" in about a half a day. If you have gotten this far, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

Also, is it just me, or is the game excellent at making you feel like every time shit goes south, it's 100% because you recently made some poor choice? I'm not complaining, I think its really clever writing, because it makes you feel like things really could have gone differently, even though I'm pretty sure all of these are fixed main story events.!<

[KCD1] What is this symbol?

Random money bag symbol popped up next to my compass. What does it mean?

The New KCD game is coming out next year [OTHER]

Apparently according to embracer group it’s might not be KCD3 but rather a spin off from the same world obviously and it’s releasing next year and it’s in full production now and the LOTR is in pre production. Interesting I’m so excited for anything warhorse releases, the million dollar question is who do you guys think will the lead of this KCD game? I’m thinking maybe a new protagonist that we haven’t met yet?

Henry is up there with Arthur Morgan as one of the best protagonists ever imo [KCD2]

[OTHER] We have to be wary about the announcement

Just because the announcement says Kingdom Come, it doesnt mean it'll 100% be the same genre we know and love.

Why do Millers consistently get a bad rap? [OTHER]

Played KCD2 first, then the prequel afterwards and noticed that all Millers are consistently under scrutiny for being shady folk.

I mean, it seems like an honest enough trade. And I can't see how milling connects to thieving/etc.

Does anyone know why this is?

Is this historically accurate?
