This is a good movie. It’s about Brad Pitt and a dog making their way through the wilderness. Every time something happened to threaten the dog or Brad Pitt, the whole theatre cringed. This was a lot, because the whole movie is the dog and Brad Pitt rescuing each other from increasingly precarious situations.

Dog movies are their own genre, and they’re technically challenging to make. Because one of the actors is a dog, and they’re notorious prima donnas. This is a really good one. It’s like the Top Gun of dog movies.

There are a bunch of military flashbacks, and they’re completely unnecessary. The dog and the human have ptsd, we get it, ok, get back to playing fetch! Jk simons is also in it, and while he’s good, he’s also completely unnecessary. The cgi is mostly not noticeable, except for the wolves, where it’s distracting.

Everyone cried at the end for the profound love between man and dog, but don’t worry, the dog lives.

Tony and Dan have a very myopic view of Hispanic American culture.

This version of the show with Zas as co-host and Roy as EP is the best sports show Dan has ever hosted. The show I first fell in love with had Mike as EP and Stu as cohost and Billy doing Billy things and I loved that show, but it was barely a sports show at that point. The irony as that I think this is the version of the show ESPN always wanted. No more Ron Magill. Greg doesn’t do Back in My Day. It’s just a good sports show. I miss the good ole days, but the real treasure was the good sports show we made along the way.

I want to shout out everybody in this Reddit community. Been a fan of the show since the winter of 2013 when I discovered it sitting in my truck on lunch at a job I hated.

I joined Reddit about 9 years ago and, like Zas in a cuck chair, I watched and read from a distance. Earlier this year, I decided to be more active in this community and it’s really helped with my mental health.

I don’t have anyone in my life who listens to the show (besides my 3 and 5 year olds) so it’s been great reading comments and interacting with everyone. It’s like we have our own show within a show.
Really enjoying being a part of it.

Jason Benetti’s analogy couldn’t be more spot on. All Dan has these days is making fun of someone for a stumble over a single word that isn’t funny, or asking the origin of something obvious, or a cheap joke at Jeremy, or badgering the guest, or begging every single broadcaster to slide in Greg phrases. It’s so fucking tired.

I know it’s been years since he’s been on the show but joining Stu a few times over the past year and not on DLS seems to be on purpose. The people who know Dan best are telling us without tell us.

If you watch the show you see how much of an improvement Roy is over Chris. He's giving Dan hand signals on how much time is left. The show has been running much smoother since he's running the board. Thank you Roy!!!

I've had these archives up for seven years or more, but the google link was constantly bugging me about approving shares and I could never seem to keep up with them. Also, I'm moving off of google cloud storage - so the archives are down. For now.

However, my buddy Claude and I are rebuilding the archive files. Including scouring the internet for as many more episodes as we can find.

Does the community want an updated, expanded archive? I've been hosting these for a number of years and I don't really care much about the cost... however the current archives are almost 50 gigs.

And my new expanded archives may be as much as 300 gigs spanning most shows from 2012 to current.

Any thoughts on where and how to repost them to keep them private to this community?
