Announcements: New rule, bans and flair

After the past week moderating, I have a few updates that will hopefully improve the experience.

  1. There’s a new rule: No obvious trolls.

Disagreements and criticism are allowed, but do not persistently try to start arguments or post purposefully offensive statements.

Please report repeat offenders.

  1. I’ve overturned several bans. If you’re still banned, use the message mods feature. That’ll allow me to determine if the ban should be lifted.

Not every ban will be lifted and we may need to occasionally enforce some new ones.

I also added a filter to hide posts and comments from accounts with negative karma here.

  1. The flairs are a bit dated. Please suggest some new ones. We can add them.
