I know it’s been years since he’s been on the show but joining Stu a few times over the past year and not on DLS seems to be on purpose. The people who know Dan best are telling us without tell us.
I know Amin always talked about him and probably mentioned it but I guess I missed that because it blew my mind seeing this dude win the game. Anyways…
Back to your programming.
I loved Stugots but Billy’s fake Stugotz, Zas and Amin have all been able to replicate his character and energy pretty well.
Billy has been much harder to replace but Jess, Jeremy, Dave and Mike have filled in enough gaps that can Voltron their way into a Billy replacement.
However, if Mike were to ever leave, I think the show would be absolutely done. Every time he misses a show now, it’s so noticeable. Mike’s operating at wins above replacement level of Babe Ruth. His on/off numbers are starting to accumulate and I hope Meadowlark is noticing.
Dan better hope Mike doesn’t withhold his song anytime soon.
