Our new OC

While a lot of guys praise Declan Doyle and I hope that he does well, I just hope that he isn't the offensive version of Zach Orr. The only thing Doyle has over Orr is that Doyle has coordinating experience (he was the OC in Chicago last season, even though he wasn't the play caller).

Is there reason to be concerned about age for the 2026 Ravens?

The Ravens have 5 key defensive players in years 10+, 2 more on offense and 3 others in Year 9.

My concern is a combination of:

  • Dependence on the vet players
  • Increased injury risk
  • Increased chance of drop off in productivity
  • Reduced chance for positive surprises from these vets

Free Agency

We've had quite the Exodus since the new coaching staff too over and was wondering what free agents would be good pick ups for the team? O-line and D-Line?, I've wanted a big body type WR for a while, who can win 1 on 1s like Mike Evans or prime Keenan Allen. No more bargain hunting for aging out former stars.

End of Season Problems/Issues and Changes Made

So we def had many issues last season, mainly being the following:

Lack of Pass Rush on D

Ineffective O-Line

Kicking Not Being the Best (Frankly Going Too Far Right At Times, even FGs Made)

Lamar Injuries/Scramble/Indecisiveness

Predictable Run Game, esp Down the Middle

Lack of Play Action

Henry Fumbling Situations

Low Morale/Everyone Feeling Lost, esp in High Stress Situations

In between now and the end of last season, how would you rate the changes made/observed SO FAR for each of the above (use A-F ranking, A being great changes made, F being the opposite) and WHY. I DO realize that the season hasn’t started yet, but just make your judgments/evaluations based on what has been heard, reports, player reactions, etc.

Thoughts on the Ravens IOL depth entering camp

As I see it, the Ravens IOL has the 2 weakest starters on the team.

What is your concern level for the IOL on a 1 to 5 scale?

PURPLE JERSEYS HAVE ARRIVED

These were actually expected next week (and then I actually expected them to delay it again.) But here they are!

Still haven’t gotten the black one yet. Fingers crossed on that one.

[Via GlennclarkRadio] Thought this was an interesting take by Jeff. "They need to address it... And I keep coming back to Garrett Bradbury."

Rob Burnett sack followed by Sam Adams INT: September 3, 2000

What’s up flock!
So I finally got around to building my YouTube playlist for our 2000 season. As I disclosed in an earlier post, I was too young to experience this season so I want to fully understand what was going on that year. From Week 1 kickoff all the way to the Super Bowl (Full 2 hr games).

As you can see right now I’m watching week one and then this happens and it stops me right in my tracks. The first thing that I said to myself was holy smokes are we serious right now?! Absolutely insane play!

This is also against the Steelers too making it even more satisfying to watch 😎

Lamar Quiñones

Looks like Lamar might be rooting for Mexico tonight. For additional context, Quiñones is Mexico’s forward.
