Is this sub a progressive subreddit or is it brigaded by centrist Dems or are y'all evolving into centrism?

I'm a Social Democrat and dedicated to progressive principals. I for the longest viewed David as a fellow Nordic style social democrat progressive to the left of Elizabeth Warren. I have seen David become a little more pragmatic and edging closer to the center left but I still view him as a progressive

However I feel like this subreddit is either becoming more centrist or attracting more centrist.

We all are very frustrated by the weak and pathetic Dem leadership with Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries.

Now I dont mind Democratic Socialist candidates cause socialism will never occur in this country for a few decades it just wont. These DSA candidates get us closer to social democracy with more welfare programs.

When we actually see activist candidates getting motion like Dr. Abdul El-Sayed I see a centrist panic in this sub and move to mcmorrow which is more of less catering to the soulless Chuck Schumer wing of Dems.

People forget AOC started as a Dem Soc and shes turned into a bright spot for social democracy agenda.

But I'm just wondering if this subreddit is moving close to the center and away from the progressive roots.

I'm starting to hope that MAGA succeeds

This 4th of July really sucked. I'm so fed up with MAGA and the Americans who "don't do politics" that I'm starting to hope that they succeed in turning this country into a Republican dictatorship because I know so many MAGAs who will be harmed by full scale Republican policy. I know it will hurt us all, but I'm not sure I care anymore. I think I would rather face collective suffering than what ever is going on now. I know that this is morally wrong, but it's where I am right now. Has anyone else been feeling this way too?

EDIT: I'm also going to make sure that I tell all the MAGAs I know that the only reason I'm supporting Republicans is so that I can watch Republicans destroy vital programs that they are relying on. Programs like Social Security, Medicare, student financial aid.

MAGA voter furious after Trump cuts his food stamps.

A Trump supporter is now regretting his vote for Trump after his food stamps were cut as a result of Trump's policies. MAGA didn't think it would affect them, and now they're blaming it on "government corruption." "I didn't think the leopard would eat my face." FAFO.

How it looks when AIPAC tries to buy a US Senate seat

AIPAC and other special interest PACs are pouring money into the Michigan US Senate Democratic Primary. This is just the primary, folks! AIPAC alone is projected to spend over 30 million on Stevens by August 4th.

It hasn't worked so far. Dr. El-Sayed is still the clear favorite, but it has narrowed the gap. Hopefully this turns into the most expensive primary loss in history, and their money is wasted.

McMorrow is polling in the single digits despite her spending. At this point she is just a spoiler to Dr. El-Sayed. Stevens is wholly reliant on old people and zionists. Everyone else is mostly voting for Dr. El-Sayed, but there are still a lot of undecided voters.

Dr. El-Sayed is a M4A progressive, takes zero corporate PAC money, running a Bernie Sanders style campaign, endorsed by Bernie, AOC, the UAW, and the largest Nurse's labor union in the state. Stevens is the establishment's attempt to prevent him winning the seat, she is supported by Schumer.

Gretchen Whitmer is evil confirmed.

"We're used to people saying 'fuck no' and doing it anyway. laughs"

-Gretchen Whitmer on hot mic discussing data centers with Oracle CEO

EDIT: I love how all the responses are thought-terminating cliches and such, no actual engagement with the fact that she cavorts with AI CEOs and laughs about governing against the will of the people.

A majority of voters in every single battleground state thinks the Democratic Party is too far left. A whopping 88% of voters think the party is either too far left or fine where it is. A meager 8% think the party needs to move leftward.
