I have around 70 dragon sheets, 300 dragon nails, and 2 cannon barrels. I'm only 88 sailing though. All other ship facilities are the highest tier I can get without using dragon stuff

I'm really torn on how to use this stuff. Do I save it for a new ship they might release? Upgrade my skiff for trials? Put it all into my sloop? Set myself up for trawling (never done it yet)? I'm so indecisive lol.

Right now I'm thinking I'll make the two dragon cannons and get the hooks to make salvaging hooks, and then maybe from there upgrade the skiff for barracuda trials as I imagine that will always be useful. That said, if there's going to be a lot of ship combat maybe I should upgrade the sloop? Super open to ideas because I don't wanna waste a bunch of supplies on a worthless ship

Wew lads I just saw into the future. Here's what's going to happen:

El sayed is going to be forced to moderate to build a winnable coalition. The enthusiasm in the base he has courted is going to fall or taper off because he won't be as cool, and now that we're in a difficult general election against a Republican that can punch back leftists are going to be less energized and leave El-Sayed out to dry. These motherfuckers are not built for fighting republicans (or really anyone who fights back). They are pussies and only want easy wins.

The people who are going to be stuck going to bat against Republicans for El-Sayed are moderate Democrats that he spent so much time shitting on. If El Sayed loses, the Democrat party brand gets stuck holding the bag both from him being a mediocre candidate and the baggage from the insurgent attack dog campaign driving the negatives up on the Democratic brand.

If El-Sayed wins, the leftists get to claim victory for their totally successful and energetic movement while feeling emboldened in using the Democratic party as a punching bag. They'll say "I told you so" despite losing all their steam after the primary (once the difficult and not so sexy work had to be done).

Reminder: Socialists are dogmatic and HATE scientific thinking. Hank Green is big on nuance, and that is not compatible with these people's cult of unity. Tankies like Hasan demand conformity above all else, and conformity above all else does not have room for gray area or answers like "it's complicated". Hank Green will not dogmatically say what they want to hear in the way they want to hear it, and that cannot fly. His reputation must be destroyed and it must be demonstrated who he should answer to at the end of the day.

You're naive if you think its anything other than that. If Hasan was found to vaguely be using AI they would forget about it in a day. This will be brought up by them whenever Hank Green is mentioned from now on. This is leverage that can be used to soil his reputation as a science communicator that people will respect. They can use this as a way to pose themselves as a more credible source than that dirty neoliberal status quo guy just repeating AI slop.

She just said the entire objective of foreign disinformation campaigns out loud. That is literally the core goal of everything they do. It's the foundation of destabilizing a state. If you look at Russian and Chinese propaganda it all points back to this

Get the population to not trust their institutions -> the political incentives align around tearing institutions down -> politicians follow the incentives -> the state becomes weaker -> power vacuums emerge -> competing factions can step into that vacuum -> opportunities for even more destabilizing operations arise -> repeat

States do not just "come back from this". You cannot just rebuild what you tear down when it comes to statecraft. Once a state is sufficiently weak it becomes more malleable and bends easier to external forces.

I cannot stress how fundamental getting a population to not trust their institutions is if you want to destabilize a state. There is no other effective way to get your enemy to weaken themselves than to destroy the trust they have over their own faculties. If you ever hear someone DIRECTLY SAY THE QUIET PART OUT LOUD like this you should IMMEDIATELY be suspicious of where they are getting this talking point from. Absolutely wild and brazen

After getting a polysomnogram done the pulmonologist reviewing it said that the best way to fix a messed up sleep schedule was to just deprive yourself of sleep because sleep inertia would mean I would inevitably feel tired. This was before getting a bipolar diagnosis LOL. Turns out even staying up for two days straight does not make me get that coveted sleep inertia alot of the time, and sleep deprivation is the fastest path to making sleep impossible.

It's just too on the nose lmfao. All the way down to the subject material. They bring it up whenever they need to distract from any criticism of Hasan. It's literally their get out of jail free card.
