How many people were actually alive back then to see what the silent generation thought of boomers
The funny part is, movies like Back to the Future 2 show the Silent Generation ruthlessly grilled baby boomers (the part where Biff ruthlessly turns Hill Valley into his personal kingdom during the 60s-70s) and Back to the Future 2 specifically had baby boomers under the cruel narcissism of the silent generation like Biff Tannen (when these terms weren't even commonly used).

Not sure if this is a hot take but....
I seriously hate the whole everything went downhill after insert year mindset. I'm not saying this because I think everything was so perfect after things went "downhill", but I'm saying it as if they think everything started sucking after a certain time period. Some will tell you it's 2020, 2016, or even 2001 and I view it all as subjective instead of fact or universal truth. I do feel like the world has been and will always be a shitty place with all the political bullshit going on. I'm only saying it simply because I feel like there are some people who try to speak for everyone and act as if everything was so perfect before a certain time period. Just looking at Decadeology and Generationology and I started taking everything it said as subjective instead of the truth since it can be dumb at times. Do you feel this way and think it's a dumb mindset imo when someone uses any year to say why things went downhill?
