Admittedly Princess Pea is my least favourite of the Super Readers but I don’t think she’s a traitor.

Why I dislike Bluey

(this is a remaster of a former post I made because that one was pretty bad in my opinion) I don't really like Bluey mostly for multiple reasons. It is very sappy most episodes with emotional moments, character voices are annoying like Bluey, Bingo and Muffin and in general Muffin just pisses me off (I know she is a child guys and I know she gets consequences but still annoying) I just dislike and think it is super overrated. Now I do agree it is better than most kids tv shows nowadays with brainless characters and fast pacing but I just don't like this show. If you like it that's fine but just don't bash my opinion. I saw the trailer for the upcoming movie and disliked it too, characters feel too bouncy and they look weird especially them facing forward and stuff I don't like it. I do the like the scenery I'll give it that but it just looks like it came out of "Party Animals".

Okay I have a question: What would happen if we pretended that PBS doesn't exist?

Think about it, this server talks about PBS ALL THE TIME.

If PBS wasn't founded, what would we do?

(Bonus question: What if Super Why was never made, or what if we pretend Super Why was never made?)

I have a theory about how Mickey Mouse Clubhouse predicted Super Why's future and vice-versa.

Let me explain:

With the first seasons of both shows, the animation felt a little dated but very memorable. And also with the first few episodes of both, they were a little unfinished (what I mean is that there were a lot of animation errors of the early episodes). But then they soon later became more and more polished and finalized.

Then for the next seasons, the animation changed and looked way better for both of them (the second season of Super Why I'm trying to get used to).

And then for season 3 of Super Why, the animation looked GORGEOUS (even though the characters looked a little bit off), also there were a lot of musical numbers in this season. What does this remind you of? Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ (yeah I'm not counting Season 4 of the OG Clubhouse). It also has a massive upgrade in animation and a LOT of musical numbers.

So with all this said: Maybe, just maybe, would we see a 2D Mickey Mouse Disney Jr. show in the future thanks to Super Why's Comic Book Adventures?

Spidey and his Amazing Friends have been renewed for a 7th season and you'll never guess who is guest staring in the Halloween Special this fall...

Apparently, Spider-man and his Amazing Friends have been renewed for a 7th season and they given us hints at the upcoming Halloween Special of the series...

Now all I cannot help, but wonder if the series will finally put the X-men into the upcoming season too.

If this show was dubbed in American English at Nickelodeon, had an all-star cast that went recording throughout 2003, and had the balls to bring back the laugh track, how would they plan it out?

This idea popped into my head over a year ago, and I planned out the main cast:

Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, Haliee Steinfeld, & Chloe Grace Moretz as Peppa

Tara Strong/Jack Black as George

Sandra Bullock as Mommy Pig

John Travolta as Daddy Pig

Meryl Streep as Granny Pig

Christopher Plummer as Grandpa Pig

Alison Bartlett as Auntie Pig

&

Bob Dishy/Jim Carrey as Uncle Pig

And even the guest roles during the first season:

  1. Betty White
  2. Tommy Lee Jones
  3. Jack Nicholson
  4. Elizabeth Perkins
  5. Dennis Hopper
  6. Melissa Joan Hart
  7. Richard Pryor
  8. Christopher Reeve
  9. Buddy Hackett
  10. Bob Hope
  11. Marlon Brando

Max & Ruby is mid IMO

And with that, I'll make this an actual rant, not just another Ruby hate post.

First off, I personally feel like both characters are extremely flawed:
- I understand Ruby is trying to be responsible towards her little brother, and it actually does show in some episodes, but there are certain episodes I don't like her in where she has a bossy/unhelpful personality that's mainly the reason why she's hated on so much (e.g. Ruby's Piano Practice, Ruby's Clubhouse, Max's Halloween, Bunny Cakes, Bunny Party, Max's Birthday, Ruby's Beauty Shop, Ruby's Pajama Party, and Baby Max)
- On the other hand, I'd also say Max is just as poorly-written as Ruby, and I get that he's only 3 years old too, but there are also certain episodes where I either loathe him or find him extremely annoying too (e.g. Hide and Seek, Max's Breakfast, Louise's Secret, Quiet Max, Bunny Money, Max's Christmas, Max's Chocolate Chicken, Max's Music, and Max's Thanksgiving)

Anyway, with that out of the way, I feel like the show is too slow-paced for me, even compared to other slow-paced shows like Blue's Clues, Arthur, Oswald, and Kipper. The writing is also repetitive IMO, and I feel like it might've used that infamous "three strikes" formula before HiT Entertainment even did.

Another thing, that grin Max makes, I know some people find it funny, but it just creeps me out.

Another thing, I also don't like how the show can be sexist sometimes, especially in "Ruby's Pajama Party", where Max is not allowed into Ruby's party because "it's for girls only".

The morals can also be pretty bad sometimes, like in "Max's Breakfast", where Max kept refusing to eat his egg, and eventually Ruby ate it for him while she boasted about how good it was. I feel like it sends a bad example to little kids about picky eating. Not to mention, that episode is probably where I hate Max the most.

And, I agree, the last two seasons of the show are even worse, and it feels more generic than the first five, like it jumped the shark.

And now for the little bits of praise, I like how Max and Ruby care for each other, even if they are heavily flawed, and the character designs are pretty cute.

But anyway, while I see why this show became as popular as it did and it has a fanbase, I still don't like it. It also makes me sad that other Nick Jr. shows like The Fresh Beat Band, and even other Nickelodeon shows like Robot & Monster and Back at the Barnyard, don't get the amount of love this show gets. I find all 3 extremely underrated IMO.

Well, that's all I have to say for this.

Make a Special About the SuperKitties' Origin

The SuperKitties are a team of feline superheroes sworn to defend the city of Kittydale from menacing meanies. Each member has a special ability to use on a very important missions. Ginny  uses her claws to climb and cut through any object, Sparks has a machine called the SuperKitty Kit which also changes into the SuperKitty Copter, Buddy transforms his body into a ball to bounce anywhere, Bitsy uses her boots to run faster than a speeding cheetah, and Willa, the newest member of the team, uses two abilities, the Wildcat Kick and the Su-Purr Roar. In every episode, there is a life lesson given to the meanie of the week, especially to preschool viewers.

There is one secret that has never been revealed, and this is the biggest one yet. How did the SuperKitties get their superpowers? Disney Junior will have to take us back to the beginning and tell us how the Su-Purr Phenomenon began. The best way to do that is to make a special about the SuperKitties' origin. Every superhero has to have an origin story, and Disney Junior will have try to tell it in the best way they can.

With a new season coming soon, Disney Junior will have to come up with some new clips like running gags for each SuperKitty member. We all know that every single time the SuperKitty Call goes off, Bitsy messes up her part, and she says "Oopsie Kitty!" after that. If one of the SuperKitties had their own running gag, Buddy would do a parody of the Doodlebops segment "Don't pull the rope!" because he calls himself the "Strong One." It takes a little imagination to figure out the rest because Disney Junior will have to use it well.

Anyone here remember "WHY?"

I used to watch it on Lifeskool/Mag Rack on demand.

Technically, my first exposure was watching it in school. The short "Why Do Birds Fly" respectively.

It did teach a lot and I felt it did a decent job for the short runtime. Although, I always found it so creepy too. The limited animation and the offmodel drawings in nearly every frame made me feel uneasy. Pretty sure this show gave kid me nightmares 🤣 regardless, I think it is still decent.
