[OC] Folks pointed out I missed Leafeon's hair, so I made sure that never happens again

All art made by me on procreate. Made the cards using assets from pokemon
Some of the designs are only headgear so far
I am talking about mainline games that force me to catch a pokemon. Well catching is the whole point of pokemon but which pokemon games force me to catch a certain pokemon without which the plot doesn't move at all.
At any point in story.
Pre elite 4, post elite 4 anything.
Edit: Gift pokemon are allowed. I just don't have to throw a pokeball to catch
Can someone who knows more than I do explain exactly what this event means for WiWa?
They say we'll get major Pokémon news—could we expect a new trailer? A reveal of a new Pokémon?
Digital print I made a while back, based on the Pokémon cards art. Wanted to share it here :)
I just finished using my guangna pens! My hubby loves matcha and I'm the chubby one that loves sharing ice-cream. 😅 Drawn in his birthday card! ❤️
I recently attended the art museum. Pretty awesome to see these Pokemon come alive! Zoom into the big blue ball to find the hidden Pokemon
Arcanine oh, OH! Hang in there buddy ( ˶°ㅁ°) !!

Couldn’t just do Charmander, Squirtle coming up next!
An ancient relief artifact of Lucario I crafted using foil embossing technique, which feels like something straight out of a Sinnoh myth.
Hi! I’m Tori of Stardust Studios TCG and I make custom binders :3
For a bit of context, I have recently gotten back into Pokemon after literal years and want to get back into the games.
Problem is I haven't a Pokemon game since Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon (Yes its been that long.)
As such I'm a bit out of the loop regarding the newer games from Gen 8 and beyond. However I plan on getting a Switch and want to get a Pokemon game alongside it...problem is I don't know which one to get as every new game seems to be massively mixed on fanbase opinions.
I don't want to delve into something too different from the original games like Legends Arceus just yet and want to play something more in line with the older games more familiar structure...which brings me to Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
I've heard a lot of mixed opinions on this game, which I recently learned is a remake of the original Diamond and Pearl games.
As someone who's never played the original Diamond and Pearl games, is BDSP a good game and a good starting point for getting into the newer games on Switch?
(Also, to my understanding FireRed and LeafGreen are also apparently available as ports on the Nintendo EShop? If true I'll definitely pick those up too as I've never played those either.)
I've been playing Pokemon Champions lately, and have been using a lot of the Recruit function since I don't have home or anything. Interacting with Kitt made me think that playing a game where you're in her shoes could be pretty fun!
You take care and breed pokemons, to then make contracts with competitive players, manage the pokemon's competitive career during different regulations etc.
Maybe I'm biased, since I always enjoyed management games, but that could be a different take on it, no? Not being the trainer for once, taking a step back. What y'all think?
I don't think game freak would ever do something in that direction, but its always fun to speculate.
