Grad photos

Does anyone know what dates grad photos are being taken, and if it’s possible to take them despite still having 5 Gen Eds left to complete?

Is it possible to take a night class to finish a Gen Ed early?

Hey everyone,

I’m graduating this year and I’m trying to figure out if there’s any way I can finish one of my remaining Gen Ed courses earlier.

This semester I’m taking Physical Education 103 as an intensive course, so it’s going to finish earlier than a normal semester-long class. Once I finish it, I’d really like to use that extra time to take one of my remaining Gen Eds, preferably through Continuing Education/night classes, since taking another course in the day division wouldn’t really work.

The problem is that by the time my intensive Phys Ed course finishes, I believe it’ll already be too late for preference/course changes in the day division.

I also don’t really want to leave the Gen Ed for my 6th and final semester, because I’ll have an internship starting around April and I’m trying to make that semester as manageable as possible.

Has anyone at Vanier been able to take a night/Continuing Education Gen Ed while still being a day-division student? Is there a way to register for one during the semester after an intensive course finishes, or would I need special permission from an academic advisor/registrar?

I’m basically trying to finish as many of my remaining courses as possible before my final semester. Any advice or experience would be appreciated. Thanks!

Questions About Intersession Courses, Summer Courses & the English Exit Exam for grad

I'm a graduating student this year (2027), and I still have 5 Gen Eds and 1 complementary course left to complete.

Right now, I'm taking an English class, a French class, and a Phys Ed intersession course. My goal is to finish my remaining Gen Eds as quickly as possible so I can graduate.

I'm thinking about taking another intersession course in the winter, and if needed, even taking courses in the summer to finish everything. I've heard from other students that if you're trying to take multiple intersession or summer courses to speed up your graduation, you have to speak with an academic advisor first so they can plan it with you.

Has anyone gone through this process? Did you have to meet with an academic advisor to be allowed to take additional intersession or summer courses? If so, what was the process like, and were you able to finish your remaining Gen Eds faster?

Also, I had a question about the English Exit Exam. I heard that if you take the Exit Exam while you're enrolled in ENGL 102 or ENGL 103 and pass it, one of the English course requirements can be waived or removed. Is that true? If anyone has done this, could you explain how it works?

I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience. Thanks!

Used the booyah bomb and got 3 people in one ultimate shot in splat zones mode. Almost had the whole team in one shot
