Rough draft- thoughts

I made this somber melody and wanted some thoughts. Still figuring out the direction for this. I know the mixing is not good, just wanted a base

Being cringe is an essential part that contributes to teen development

In earlier years, kids/teens would be express their passion and creativity freely. It created so much “color and saturation” in the world. It was very popular to be “weird”. To put in context, think about Disney movies. Your classics like camp rock or radio rebel. Although we laugh but how cringe it was it contributes to the saying “we were cringe but we were free”. It feels really nice to express yourself without the worry of being judged in a way that makes you uncool. Early YouTube days, vine, musically, and many more were the outlets for being cringe. For teen development you have to be cringe. It shows a few things.

  1. You have a passion/express your creativity in something.

  2. You are not afraid to to express that part of yourself(think of this is me- camp rock)

  3. when you reflect back on those times/years you develop a deep appreciation for your self and you can laugh about it, having a healthy relationship with past memories and actions

4)You can develop uniqueness

5)You can develop healthy confidence in yourself

  1. You learn how to take a joke about yourself

6)YOU ARE LIVING/BEING IN THE MOMENT

Nowadays it seems like everyone just wants to look cool or is too afraid to be them themselves. So many personalities are starting to to become monotone. Being cringe is refreshing. When was the last time you saw someone dancing freely on the street just because. Stuff like that people think it’s embarrassing or cringe but things like that can actually contribute to a healthy view on yourself and society around you.

What scene do you see when you hear this

Hello, first timer here. I was curious on what imagery or scene do you think of when you hear this short composition. I made it myself and always wanted to pair it with a moment in story telling but I’m not sure what vibe it gives. If you want to write out a scene or just summarize a moment that pops up into your head I’ll take it. Thanks

Another Smosh 2026 Prediction has hit THE LIST

Hey everybody, just came to update you on another one of my predictions coming true. If you don’t know already, it’s Shayne voicing a character on a TV show. (A big plus since it’s also with Damien). My list is coming along so far. If anyone remembers me posting my list in the beginning of the year, many of you guys said the list could actually be do able lol. I’m not sure if I posted about Smosh taking their field trip (sanctuary zoo) on here yet but I added that so now I have a TOTAL OF 5 PREDICTIONS THAT CAME TRUEEEE! Some of you might say add the musical guest one because T-pain showed up, but I consider it as half. I’ll wait till the end of the year or if another guest comes and actually performs. Later

IMPORTANT EDIT:
There is one little Mistake. I accidentally checked off the one for Amanda but there hasn’t been anything I’ve seen lately that would make me want to check it off yet so I AM REVOKING THE CHECKMARK (for now) which means there is a TOTAL OF 4 PREDICTIONS . (Don’t worry, I edited in my notes so I have it for me.) Sorry for the confusion lol. Now really…later

Musical Slip it in?

I was watching the slip it in/ uno vid recently and I thought it would be fun if they did musical slip it in. Like they spend the video making up different song with random categories while they have to try to slip it in the lyrics. They start out with a theme for the song and if the person gets caught slipping it in during the lyrics by someone else, the theme of the song changes or something. Idk just an idea

What was your hardest song to finish and why?

I know songwriting is different for everyone but I’m curious on what makes a song difficult for people to finish. I know the common reasons of maybe the lyrics/melodies were not coming to mind or writers block but I feel for some there is a deeper reason and a profound moment that suddenly over takes to complete a song.

Old song, feedback?

I made this song years ago on my SoundCloud and ran into it again. This was back when I was still new to arranging full pieces of songs. This was originally just an instrumental but I did write lyrics for it but never recorded on it. Just curious to see what vibes you get from it.

Another prediction off my check list completed. Love the animals video that came out yesterday. So cool and fun. The last prediction to make the list was 40 days ago (fun fact) Now I have a total of 3 things down on my list. Hopefully there is more to come.

Just had an idea for an acoustic cover of this song. What do you think? Decided to create different voicing and melody.

u/4Eyez_z — 4 months ago

I decided to do a cover of this song and tried doing the ending of the song by myself. I know in the original there are multiple people but I’m all I got lol and wanted to challenge myself. I wanted to do it in my own style and it became my favorite part of my cover. I’m not done yet because I’m still mixing to make it sound somewhat decent but I just wanted to share this part. Hope you like it.
