Tw: Discussion of transphobia
Anyone else feel hesitant about asking someone out if they’re trans? I would be perfectly fine dating someone who is but I’d feel bad about introducing them to my family. I think if I brought home a girl (I’m a girl) it’d be alright but a trans person (either gender) may be too much. Idk I was just curious if someone else is in a similar boat. My parents are totally chill with everything but my extended family (esp. some younger cousins) are very important to me and I don’t want to cut them off but also I don’t want to potentially expose my partner to vitriol.
