U8QG (2025) vs U7SG (2026) vs U75QG (cheaper)

#1 - U8QG has better local dimming with higher nits, but I'm putting this TV in a dimly lit room so I do not need the extra brightness, and the U8GQ also has 4.1.2 audio but I don't think I will use that since I barely use 5.1

#2 - U7SG has 2.1.2 audio which is fine for my needs, it only has 3000LD/nits which I don't think is a big deal, now the real question is about the U7SG label Hi-QLED (which the others do not have) so I'm not sure if Hi-QLED really makes a noticeable difference? I also read the U7SG might have a better response time since it's a newer updated panel? That's probably the most important thing for gaming is response time, right?

#3 - However.... I could also go with the U75QG and save like $500 since I probably won't even notice much difference anyway right?? I'm just wondering if the Hi-QLED and possibly faster response time is worth the extra $500 that's my main question here thanks

I'm planning on getting new TV for PS5 pro, trying to decide between U7 and U8 models... Obviously bigger is better for movies, but I was originally planning on 75" cuz I'm worried 85" will be overkill for gaming... However I read 75" use IPS and 85" use VA panel, so I guess I have to get 85" for better contrast?? is VRR 288 vs 330 noticeably different? the 85U7SG has Hi-QLED and VA panel, but the 75U8QG has higher nits and is obviously cheaper... I don't really want to go much above $1600 any recommendations?? thanks!
