Im most concerned with noise, since we already need to run air purifiers in here to deal with allergies we are trying not to add any significant noise to the already barely tolerable mix. I am very mold sensitive unfortunately and so I'm pretty hesitant to buy a midea U even though I think those are the quietest. Was looking into the variable speed LG dual inverter units but heard the 6000btu model is fixed speed or something, and even the 8000btu model only gets down to like 44dba which is still a fair bit.

The room is our office and it faces the hot side of the house and in the summer it absolutely roasts even with the ac on in the rest of the house full blast.
