X5 Discounts - Recent Sales

Is anyone still seeing 8 to 10% discounts on 2026 X5s? I’m in Western NY for reference.

I’m in the early stages of looking at an X5. I’m coming out of a Volvo EX90 that is being bought back by Volvo due to tons of issues.

I talked to salesperson about pricing. He played up the 0.9% financing really hard and said for discounts all they’re giving is $4k. He claims that they’re moving a lot of these and dealers are hoarding their inventory. I’m looking at a pretty loaded X5 40i models on their lot that have an MSRP of $83 to $89k. I was expecting to see a discount closer to 6k to 9k.

Curious if I’m being realistic or if things are tightening with some buyers reacting poorly to the 2027 model.

Highway wind noise

I’ve had trouble with wind noise from my driver and passenger side front windows on my 2025 EX90 Ultra since I took delivery. It seems to come from the A pillar area and sounds as if a window is slightly open at highway speeds.

My dealer hasn’t been helpful diagnosing, so I was looking at the seals myself and noticed it’s a very unique design. There is a seal at the front area of the window that just butts up against the edge of the window and seems like it wouldn’t seal great on its own, then there is a fairly large gap before two more seals that sit on the inner part of the door. Is this what the seals are supposed to look like? I thought maybe the gap was for drainage, but even after rain or a car wash, it never seems to be wet. I’m starting to wonder if the air gets passed that first seal and makes noise within that channel, but then again, perhaps this is an intentional design.

Fan Running Intermittently when car is parked

2025 EX90 Ultra running 2.1.26.

I’ve noticed recently that the fan on my car will run for a few minutes randomly when the car is parked. It is not plugged in when this is happening and is in my garage which has only been about 60 to 75 degrees F inside.

I never noticed this before. The car does not otherwise appear to be on (no lights illuminated or climate control running). My car also sits for a few days at a time during the week because I work from home.

Anyone else have this happen? I thought maybe it was something with keeping the battery temp managed, but with the temp being moderate, no charging happening, and no recent drives, I don’t know why it would be cooling anything down.
