Jack of All Trades rune on enchanters
So, I was browsing data on LoLalytics (emerald+, last 30 days) for rune winrates on enchanters. And I have noticed, that on a lot of them ( namely Nami, Karma, Janna, Milio, Sona, Seraphine, Renata (although for her sample size is very low)) JoAT in secondary tree has higher winrate then champions average, although usually low pickrate (with some exceptions, mainly Sona, where it's taken very often). It makes me wonder, why it is the case.
Getting 10 stacks on enchanter seems difficult, as you can only gain 4 from World Atlas, and then AP, AH, ms flat, ms %, H&S from other enchanter items for total of 9. To get 10 you have to go out of your way to get either mana item (probably why JoAT has good pickrate on Sona) or armor/mr, like Locket or Knight's vow, which is unusual for enchanters.
This makes me think that early 5 stacks powerspike is the reason for this runes winrate, since you only need AP/HP/AH/boots to activate it, and get 200 gold bonus worth in AP. The low pickrate also implies it's situational. From here, I figure that:
- Either the early power spike is useful to survive harder matchups - although that would imply lower winrate, I believe, rather then high one.
- Or it is good as a win more item, taken in games where you expect to hard win lane? Using early 5 stacks powerspike to increase advantage in lane? That would explain high winrate, although early powerspike doesn't seem that important in this case.
But frankly speaking, I have no idea, I am just guessing. And that's why I'm posting this here. I hope someone here can explain this to me, or correct some misconception I have in this post.
