Tracking weight issues
I recently purchased a used Toshiba SR-F450. Problem is that I'm forced to set the tracking weight 2 grams above the recommended setting to prevent the needle from repeating like in the video.
- Tested this with several records
- Needle and records are clean
- Turntable is leveled
- Tracking force and anti skating both set to 2 in the video (recomended tracking force on the C 44 is 1.5 to 2.3 )
- Installed a brand new stylus compatible with the C 44 cartridge.
Does anyone have suggestions on why this might be happening?
