70+ Internship Applications Still No Offer
Hi guys,
I’m an incoming 4th year CS student and required kami to complete 400 internship hours this summer. Our internship officially started nitong first week of May, and dapat nagpapasa na kami ng weekly reports sa prof namin.
The problem is until now, wala pa rin akong nahahanap na internship.
I’ve already applied to 70+ companies for different roles like:
- IT Intern
- Tech Support Intern
- Web Developer Intern
- Data-related roles
- General CS/IT internships
Almost every week may 1–2 interviews naman ako, and recently umabot pa ako sa final interview stage. Pero 2 days na rin walang update if accepted ba or rejected.
At this point, medyo napapaisip na ako kung may mali ba sa approach ko, resume ko, interview answers ko, or maybe the market is just really competitive right now.
For those who were in the same situation before:
- What helped you finally land an internship?
- Any tips for improving interviews or applications?
- May companies ba kayong marerecommend na still hiring interns?
