11 month old biting every nursing session
Over the past 3 weeks my now 11 month old has been biting more and more. The last two days he's bitten me every nursing session except one middle of the night feed. He has exclusively nursed since birth and I'm at a complete loss. Both of my nipples are bleeding and he's crying and signing for milk constantly.
I've tried all the tricks to get him to stop, saying no, setting him down and taking a long break before trying to latch again but no matter what he bites down within a few seconds of latching. I'd be happy to pump to get us to a year but he's refusing milk in any kind of cup or bottle. I'd think that he was naturally weaning but he's been super slow on eating solids and still won't eat more than a few bites at meal times despite clearly being very hungry.
How do I keep this kid fed? I'm really starting to worry about his lack of calories.
