best way to turn mini dv to digital other than using firewire?
i got firewire but they sent me a broken cable whats the best way to turn tapes digital without it (and i cant order anything from outside my country cuz we got a war or sum)

i just got a new cable because i got the wrong cable yesterday but i got the right one today and its not connecting anyone know what i should try
