Itchy red spots randomly on forehead/hairline
Hey, 33 y/o male,
Recently started noticing more and more that I get these itchy spots, almost like hot spots on my forehead, either right in the center or sometimes near the hairline and temples. They aren't like traditional hives, or very big in size, and they aren't raised much. They itch like crazy causing me to scratch them and create obvious red marks on my face due to my lighter complexion.
I believe I've been getting them for years now. Some days are worse than others. I don't believe it to be rosacea as there's no broken blood vessel type areas. It's random where and when they disappear and they usually go away pretty quickly if I throw water on my face or go shower with anti-dandruff shampoo.
I suspect contact dermatitis maybe, but from what, I do not know. I haven't changed laundry detergents or started any new meds. I would say it's pretty in-line with my hashimoto's diagnosis for my thyroid though, but I never noticed it being this severe.
Anything I can do to prevent or stop this? I've started washing my face with IA just in case it's some sort of fungus, but I don't believe it is.
