Now this is a beatbox battle! King inertia vs Crythix (source link in description)
Imagine if Bookie Blanco won GNB
Hippy in GBB potentially?
I can see bookie winning another GBB qualifier. The only other ones I see who can win GNB is either Derrick or Waali.

Beatcity Japan is the next GBB challenger series that will happen next, being on May 5 and 6.
The people who are qualified in the solo category of Beatcity Japan are 7 wildcard winners, 4 regional qualifers, and an Area prelim that is yet to be decided.
The 4 people who are regional qualifiers are automatically top 8 in the bracket. However the wildcard winners need to do a seeding round. After that, the 7 wildcard winners and the Area prelim winner will have to battle to get into top 8.
I feel like it's unfair for the wildcard winners as they have to do a elimination and a battle to reach top 8, yet for the regional qualifiers, they are automatically in the top 8.
I feel like a better way to make it more fair to all the participants is have everyone do an elimination and then a top 8 bracket.
It's not just solo but also loopstation category. The winner of Japan Loopstation Championship is automatically in the top 4 while the rest of the wildcards have to do an elimination.
My guess is that they want to have a chance for Japanese people to get into GBB, which is totally understandable especially with other GBB challenger series like Africa/Mena and APAC targeting specific regions to have the chance to qualify into GBB, but I don't think the format is fair. Even in other GBB challenger series, beatboxers who are qualified besides wildcard still need to follow the same steps as everyone (like German Beatbox Championship: Global or Great North Battle 2024).
What are your thoughts about this? I would love to hear what other people have to say about it.
