Orientation of Simagic Haptics. Do they matter? Part 2
A few months I ago I posted to seek opinions whether the orientation of the Simagic haptics on my SRP Lites affects the experience. Some of the comments (and results from my own researches) really encourage me to switch from vertical to horizontal. So I went for it.
But the problem was I didn't have a 3D printer and I didn't feel like asking local 3D printers to print the printables I found online for me. So I started looking for alternatives.
Ended up getting angle plates from Aliexpress which work like wonders. You just have to pair them with the L shaped brackets that came with the haptics to turn them into U shaped brackets. And voila, very solid and firm horizontal orientation.
And yes, turning them from vertical to horizontal makes a difference. Now I feel the woodpecker pecking on my foot when I brake.
