17M room in my parents' house with no window. Tips for lighting, layout, or organization? Honest thoughts?
My colors are black, brown, and (green I guess, but I've got a bunch of random colors). The accent color used to be yellow with all the Hawkeyes stuff, but I got rid of most of that. I want to add a curtain and remove the closet door in the corner, since it clashes with the dresser for space.
I'm trying to make it feel cozy with the lighting. The last two were a little too dark to photograph without the overhead light on, but I rarely use that light anymore. I need more light by my shelves, though.
What would you guys recommend with the junk on the wall and shelves? I'm planning on hanging my 3d printed swords on the wall once I finish them. I'm considering getting a 3rd matching black shelf. I also need to frame some of the stuff on my walls.
I hate all the gray on the walls and blanket. What color of blanket and curtain should I get? Forest green? Something coppery or orange? Would an accent wall behind the guitars look good in orange or blue?
I can't spend a whole lot of money since I'm in high school saving for college and leaving next year, but I can make some smaller changes and will buy more lights.
