Finally finished my VFC stalker build
Main body: VFC AV74M
Stock: FCW triangle stock for VFC AV74 series. Be warned it's not a drop in fit despite what FCW claims. You need to use the spacers that come with it. Both the hinges and stock catch cut out needs to be filed in order for the stock to fold or lock properly. As you can see I didn't file the hinges enough before installing it and the paint scraped off against the gun.
Furnitures: Original furnitures primed with Mr.Hobby 1000 grit grey surfacer then sprayed with camo paint. I forgot to sand the furniture first so the paint flaked off relative easily here and there, but I think it adds to the aesthetic so I leave it be and also I am lazy. Originally I planned to use LCT furnitures as they sell OD sets. But the lower handguard is too big and blocks the upper from installing properly. LCT's grip is for AEG and doesn't work with the screw VFC uses.
Ribbed dust cover: CYMA AKM dust cover. It's for AEG which means it's too long. It took me roughly an hour to saw ~ 10mm from the front with a hacksaw. Then I used a metal file to trim it bit by bit as I try the fit. The bottom edge of the hole for the cover release button needs to be filed down ~3mm as the original opening is too high. The left side cut out is also too short and will block the serial, I will probably cut and shape it when I have the time.

All in all it can be done in one day, just get a dremel and life will be much easier.
