I always felt DMR's, M110/SR-25 builds should be classic and true to their role.. But everything I was looking around for builds for my current DMR, I found this KAC DAC build that grew on me. And after getting some nice disposable income, I managed to get the build done today.

The base is the MTW-308, slapped a 10" outer/inner and handguard on it to make it into the build from the real gun. And ofcourse a bunch of other furniture that matched.

Very stoked with how it turned out and can't wait to field it! I'm still looking to change 1 or 2 things, like dying the handgrip to match the coyote/tan color and getting proper backup sights since I've used the ones from my Kriss Vector currently.

Hi i could really use some advice.

I'm using a CYMA CM355 (Remington 870 style), and the trapdoor release latch (the button used to open the loading door and change the shell magazine) has stopped working.

When I press the release, it feels like the internal plastic catch has either snapped or come loose. The button no longer releases the trapdoor.

Right now, the only way I can open it is by inserting a flathead screwdriver through the small opening and manually pushing the plastic latch from the inside.

I live in Thailand, and replacement parts are difficult to find. Even when they are available, they usually cost around 15–20% of the price of the gun, which seems a bit expensive. On top of that, I'm worried that replacing it with the same plastic part could just lead to the same failure again.

Does anyone know the best way to repair this, or is there a better long-term solution or modification?

I also remember reading somewhere that some people simply remove the trapdoor completely. If I do that:

• Will the BB shell fall out during use?
• If not, what keeps it in place?
• Is there a recommended modification that makes swapping shells quicker and easier during games?

I'd really appreciate any advice, photos, or DIY solutions.

They don’t really go together, the face pushes up the eyes, which makes me squint, and if I push the eyes the face leaves gaps, I don’t want a paintball full face mask because of how bulky they are, picked these up today (mesh mask has dents in it from me testing it) I don’t want to buy other things because these cost like $60 combined

I know it has plenty of issues, and I’m only really keeping it for display, but I would like to know what some of these issues are/ how to prevent them from some peoples experiences, any feedback is appreciated

Good morning all.

I have just picked up a secondhand GHK G5 for around 50 quid. It has an extended barrel that I'm hoping to either cover or replace with a shorter variant, and has one of the Airtac HPA conversions that sit in the magazine well. Does anyone know of any potential problems with this system and if it requires specific parts, or are they generally universal?

First two MC and AOR2. Last two M81 with AceTac LPPC 2.0

Just need a few less ferns and a few more palm trees and you're good to go!

I really just play in backyards no tournaments or anything like that.

Dude at Evike outpost Dallas said it was good and better than the cm16 raider 2.0 (or atleast more up to date) but what’s the opinion of the people?

Finally finished this mf after what was like a month or two

Asked my tech to put all the compression parts from cyma, the piston, and an m140 along side the perun AB++

Hop up setup is zci 450mm barrel and 4uad bucking and nub

I'm using the ohhunt lpvo mount with a cheap 3-12x sight

Shots pretty straight and has a solid 2.3 Joules, which is fine for my field with distances but might downgrade just in case

So far, I find the svd as a pretty good dmr base, with decent upgrades

Only thing i would change is the furniture, cyma's pretty awful, my wood handguard stripped and i had to replace it with the lct which btw, doesn't fit with a little modification in my case, but other than that its a pretty good gun
