In chapter 3 Marianette mentions liking both pancakes and waffles despite the fact that liking one inherently means you have to hate the other. Genuinely ridiculous oversight
It took 145 hours and 55 minutes but here it finally is. This was my first time playing something on a difficulty level higher than official mainline pokemon games and I have to say I have probably never been this engaged in a turn based rpg before. The field effects and ruthless pokemon were really fun to play around and while I'm not sure if this game is "hard" by fangame or romhack standards or whatever but I still got my ass kicked on the standard difficulty and could not be happier.
I do think the scope of the plot is kinda inflated, a lot of the writing is extremely cheesy and sometimes it feels like it had dozens of writers that were all only allowed to add things and not remove anything, but despite all of that I still had a great time reading through it simply because of just how charming and interesting the main cast is, and if my guess as to what message the story is going for based on what the current version has is correct then I guess that's the most important part anyway.
Anyway, guess I'm entering the v14 waiting room now
