Story progression

I think I messed up…. I restarted my game and I accidentally went into the Western Gearen power plant and played through the (partial?) events of what I assume to be Chapter nine (9) where you fight ||rift Garbodor|| and grabbed my 8th gym badge without completing chapter one (1) yet. Will this affect gameplay in anyway if I were to continue the game as normal such as beating the first gym leader and so forth and following the rest of the story in its linear progression?

I pray that Aelita doesn't trade her Mega Blaziken for a Mega Staraptor

Between facing a speed boost monster and a monster with contrary during the renegade, I prefer the speed boost

Team building help

Hi, just wanted to ask if anyone had any suggestions as to what I should change about my current team. The only members I want to keep are silph (my lucky charm) and alpha. I just beat amber but I'm stuck at the route 6 xen ship fight, but more or less I want to make a team that'll stick

Any recommendations are welcome

Pressing M or Alt Keys doesn't work for me - Fast Forward Issue

i want to fast forward some of the battles but i can't seem too, and there is no one talking about it on reddit. Tried to check controls option but there is no fast forward keybind issued there

Fixed: Somehow starting the new game and then going back to my save file fixed it,

Theoretically speaking can you add events from mods (specifically lawds in my question) into the base game? They have some new events that I thought it fits perfectly but playing the mod itself is too hard for me. I meant no hate with this, just genuinely curious

Do not alter my appearance.

It never bodes well with me when a game forces a complete character appearance change without any decision from me the player. Sure, technically I could have said no, but in an effort to be "funny" you have to skip through Mr. Luck asking 40 times to sign the contract. I know i can just continue on and get a black prism from a psyduck but I really liked the way my character looked and just stripping that away for a funny haha really ruined any motivation I had to continue playing. Maybe tomorrow I'll be over it and try again.

My (Lengthy) Thoughts After My First Playthrough (Paragon): Fights and Difficulty

I played the game in classic mode with setmode and no items, so I'll give my review from that perspective.

For me it strikes a pretty nice balance in this regard, especially in deciding when to give you access to certain Pokemon or items, ensuring that you probably won't be able to breeze through all of the fights, but you always have the tools to make a winning strategy. I am a bit sad that you unlock megas so late, but it's understandable.

I mostly like the mechanic of the different terrains but at times they aid your opponent WAY too much (Souta I'm looking at you with that infinite tailwind), and while you can also abuse this, it's a bit annoying to have to make a whole team for a specific fight so I tended to avoid that.

I love the whole thing regarding Rift Pokemon and how shields work and stuff, though the challenge can really be trivialized by just poisoning it because most of them don't clear their status after a shield break. Although I do like that they thought about the strategy of just bringing a whole team of Pokemon with destiny bond because it only works once, so props for that.

Regarding specific fights, the only ones that felt unfair at times were Angie, Souta and Spacea from the Main Story. Although Angie was mostly because I was being stubborn and I could deal with it once I decided to use that superstar Throh. For Spacea, aside from that completely busted mechanic of her stealing your Pokemon, I had the most obnoxious bug that made it so she didn't lose her shield at times.

Some of the most fun I had with the game was all the planning I did to beat the "impossible fights" of the game, so I'll discuss each specific one and the strategy I used:

- Madelis (when you are Melia): This one is purely RNG and hoping for Togepi to get a boost from Ancient Power.

- Challenger Mercury (If you tackle it as early as you can): The jumpscare of Aqua Building. This one I first tried for a bit at trying to abuse immunities while setting up toxic spikes with Trubbish, but it was too reliant on RNG so I later simply caught Three Geodudes with Sturdy and gave them Oran berries so they could procc it twice (this requires them to be at level 1 with low IVs on HP).

- Deathwing Sonia: That moment you realize there are competent Team Xen grunts around when you first search Akuwa Town. This one I defaulted for using my Rare Candies to make my Talonflame learn Tailwind so that my three Drifblim could take one Pokemon each with Destiny Bond. I found their performance so goated in that fight I decided to nickname them after the Three Wise Monkeys. I found it disappointing that there wasn't much of a reaction other than a "..." after beating them, especially since we later learn that if they lose they are executed.

- Madame X: This one was trivially easy by using a Drifblim with Destiny Bond and resetting until the Yveltal missed an attack, cause I didn't want to waste my Focus Sash (though I never ended up using it)

- The Xen Ship Overleveled Doubles Battles (again, if you tackle it as early as possible): This combination of battles was probably the hardest fights in the game. The first Doubles Battle I managed to get a win by using the move Wide Guard, Tailwind, Screens and having a low HP Sceptile to procc Overgrowth to get some important kills.

The second Doubles Battle I relied on getting lucky with the amount of sleep turns I managed to get with my Breloom that knew Spore, while being able of oneshotting or near oneshotting most mons with I think abusing the power of Froslass with Aevian Froslass and an Alolan Ninetales that set up Aurora Veil. The most complicated part of this fight was the Alakazam which was dealt with by abusing the weird AI that happens with Zoroark.

For the final Doubles Battle I simply gave up and abused the forbidden combination of Shedinja with an Aromatisse with Skill Swap, which proceeded to set up with Calm Mind and kill the entirety of the team. The only possible pokemon that can deal any damage to you is the Kommo-o with Vile Assault, so if you manage to defeat that you are golden.

- ADMIN: That unkillable Regirock fight. This one was simply a matter of poisoning it, setting up Leech Seed and then have my level 1 Geodude do whatever for over a 100 turns (teach it moves with tons of PP). Eventually the game tells you that it's just a waste of time and makes you auto-lose, but I still count that as a win.

- The Ana and V Gauntlet: This one was extremely tough since I didn't know it was coming and I didn't want to take a loss so I couldn't build a specific team for this, but I eventually managed to find a way. My team at the time was: Primarina, Garchomp, Yanmega, Breloom, Aevian Froslass, Mawile. Breloom trivialized the first Ana fight by abusing Spore, Leech Seed and Substitute.

Sadly the second Ana fight outspeeds and oneshots Breloom, so it's not possible to repeat this strategy. For the second one I took one of the shields with Mega Mawile tanking one hit, setting up a boosted Sword Dance and then using Sucker Punch. Then it was up to my Impulse Yanmega with Protect to be able to outspeed, then using a combination of Flash and Swagger while whittling away at it with Air Slash, then probably finishing it with another mon if Yanmega got hit.

Then the fight against V was I think using the Interceptium Z on Primarina to use that Aurora Veil-esque move, then having Aevian Froslass and Garchomp take it down.

Help me set a team please

Hey guys, hope you are well I've been intending to settle down on a team, been spending quite some time on juggling multiple pokes leveling up. Here are the pokes that I have been working on, along with my team

I intend to keep: Blaziken - Reversal ; Sky Uppercut ; Brave Bird ; BlazeKick Swampert - Surf ; Muddy Water ; Hammer Arm ; Earthquake Zoroark - Shadow ball ; Brick break ; Foul play ; Curse (the only major reason he's on team, curse works too well in boss fights)

Please let me know if I should change movesets on these two, and I can provide the moveset of the rest as well if required.

Does Difficulty Pick Up?

I eventually decided to give Rejuv a chance because, despite not liking Reborn, I enjoyed Desolation so I decided all 3 needed judged on their own merits. So far, I've felt very little resistance. I'm just past the first major Team Xen encounter and everything thus far has been strangely easy. I am playing on Classic, before anyone asks. Does it get harder when you get past the beginning?

Guys how do I fix these?

I was starting to play Pokémon Rejuvenation for the first time, and the world is seems to be corrupted. I installed JoiPlay and RPG maker plugin both are latest version.

Who do you think is the most forgettable unique character in the game?

Personally, I think it's Cairo. We see him once, and then he has zero importance whatsoever beyond being the guy that sells you rift matter and some crests.

I completely forgot about his existence five minutes after seeing him for the first time, and the next time I thought about him at all was when I started my second playthrough.

Nightmare Remix (New game plus) Full Evs (Deadless, Set mode, No Items, No Bag): Sylveon's mother is the best

Before all this, there are some interesting things I can achieve before this big return with my good friend Cain. I got the Scolipede with Swords Dance as soon as I reached Route 7, and with a Technique Contract, it's officially a permanent member of the team.

Within this, it's important to clarify something about Sylveon:

Swift learns it at level 17. It's possible to get it by going back a level to level 16 thanks to candies, so there's no real consequence to this. Even if there were other problems with this Pokémon, I also have another Eevee with Calm Mind in my PC that I got before my trip to the GDC (I was looking for one with Toxic, but that's another story). Although, to save time, I ended up using Relearned Move.

But let's leave aside a few things about this battle, because things are getting interesting:

Our good friend starts with Starlight Terrain and then transforms into New World, which you have to be careful of since this Pokémon is treated like a Darkrai, as in one phase it has its more reliable and improved Dark Void. This isn't the only way it can put you to sleep, since it will always put you to sleep on turn 4 and apply the Nightmare effect. Because of this, I opted for a simple solution: using Saveguard on turns 2 and 3 to prevent them from falling asleep so quickly.

It's a bit complicated, but if you do everything right, that's where I needed the speed boost and the ability to withstand a Psyshock. With good Iron Defense and a significant investment in HP, it can handle it well, and then it's simply a matter of passing and using Calm Mind.

That's literally the plan, and it's not good to get overconfident because it will destroy you in one hit, even with Bold and all the buffs on its last shield.

I hope you like it. By the way, I apologize in advance; the post was uploaded without any prior notification. I don't know what happened to cause it to upload unexpectedly.
