Need Court Order For Website Domain Acct. Change - Can I Do This in Small Claims or Some Other Fast Option?

LOCATION: Iowa, US

I recently bought a scientific research website from the owner for $500. The research firm has been closed for years, and the last owner is 87 with health issues, and no working computer. I'll be keeping the website up so the research stays freely available to the public.

Network Solutions owns the domain, and is requiring a judge-signed court order to transfer account access to me, because the previous owner lost all login info, and it's unrecoverable. They are refusing any other legal documentation.

I have reached out to 16 business law firms. Some have rejected me. Some haven't gotten back to me after a week and a half.

Is there any way I could do this in small claims court or some other avenue without having to find a lawyer? I have the signed and notarized bill of sale to present to a judge, and am happy to fill out whatever other forms are needed.

I really just need a judge to rubber stamp this as soon as possible. The website is down due to a cyber attack, and I need account access to get it back up.

Thanks for any advice!

Quick Business Attorney for Business Sale Documents? - Thanks for any help!

I'm looking for a business attorney who can quickly write up the document(s) needed to sell either a defunct 501 C3, or just the website. It was a scientific research firm that's now been closed for over a decade. The last remaining owner is in their late 80s with health problems, and wants to sell it to me to keep the website up so the research remains available to the public.

I also need them to arrange a judge-signed court order stating I'm the new lawful owner for the company that holds the domain. It's the only way the domain company is willing to change the account info.

Currently the website is down due to a cyber attack, and I need domain access to be able to get it back up. Also, the original owner's health is going downhill, so the sooner the better.

I've already left messages with a dozen or so lawyers in town, but am only getting rejections so far, so I thought I'd post here. If you know someone, or are interested yourself, comment or DM me with your contact info, and I'll reach out right away. Thanks!

Can I Get a Custom Legal Letter Drafted Online? - If Not, How Do I Get a Laywer to Return My Call? I've called 16

LOCATION: MA & IA

tl:dr I need a custom legal letter drafted to change the primary contact for a business website from one person to another. I have reached out to 16 business lawyers, and haven't gotten any help, and most haven't even responded. Is this something I can do online? Or do you have other advice to get an appointment?

Long Version: There was a scientific research firm that closed many years ago. The website is still up to keep the research findings available to the public. The only surviving member is in their late 80s, has no access to their old email or account info, and has failing health. I've offered to take over the website and keep it up in perpetuity. However, Register.com, who sold the domain, is requiring a notarized letter to change the main account holder for their account. I just need this letter drafted.

Register.com is also wanting two of the following: Utility bill, business license, letter of incorporation, or a tax document. I don't have any of that, because I'm doing this for free, and the business has been closed for many years. So I'm hoping to explain that in the notarized letter, and if I'm lucky, register.com will accept the contact change. If you have any other ideas, I'd love them.

The old business and the old owner are in MA, and I'm in IA. I have reached out and left messages with 16 business lawyers in MA. It's been over a week, and I've heard back from four. One said they couldn't do it, two said the lawyers were on vacation, and that I'll hear back later this week, and one didn't listen to my message at all and left a message on my phone saying they don't have a notary. I've never had this kind of trouble hiring a lawyer before.

Is this something I can have drafted for a fee online? If so, what site? If not, how do I get a lawyer appointment? The website is currently down due to a cyber attack, and the hosting company needs domain account access to add more protections and get the website back up, so I want to get this done as quickly as possible.

Thanks for all your help!

Funny Story: Pranking My Asshole Dad When He Was Driving Behind Me - Speed Limit? That's Way Too Fast!

This is the story of the one time I was a really obnoxious driver. I had been helping my mom divorce my mean abusive father, but he still had visitation with my younger brother. We lived outside a small town in opposite directions, and it just so happened that I found my dad driving right behind me, both heading to my house, which was normally 10 minutes away. There was no one behind him, so I decided to have some fun.

For the first few minutes it was in residential areas with a 25mph speed limit. So I went 15. I knew my dad liked to speed, so I also knew going crazily slow was going to drive him up a wall. Then the speed changed to 35, so I sped way up, to 25. Finally we got on a country road that slowly went from 35, to 45, to 55 with a handful of short places to pass between curves and hills. I kept 10-15 mph under the speed limit, until I reached a place to pass. Then I sped way up. Only to slow back down just as quickly as soon as it was too late. During some of the slow parts, he was close enough to me that I could see him literally grabbing at his hair in a frantic manner through my rear view mirror. I laughed and slowed down a bit more.

Finally we got to the little gravel road I lived on. That was a good time to drive 5 mph in the middle of the road. There were no other cars around, other than me and him, and I would have pulled back over into my lane if a car had appeared. Instead I got to watch him tear his hair out more.

Finally we reached our destination. I assumed he'd known it me the whole time. It turns out, he did not realize who was in front of him until we pulled into my driveway. This big, grown-ass man, who is normally full of confidence, got out looking shaken, and stuttered out "th-th-that w-w-was ju-just because you saw me behind you, right? Y-you don't normally drive like that, right???"

I was in my late teens at the time, and had learned how to drive from my mom (who's a better and safer driver than he is. He once read a novel while driving cross country WTF?!) So since he hadn't taught me how to drive, he needed reassurance that I didn't normally drive like an asshole. Nope. I was just bored, angry, and decided to have a bit of fun. He was so relieved that I didn't normally drive like that, that he wasn't even really upset.

How Much Longer Does It Take for Tankless Hot Water Heaters to Heat Up Water? Thanks!

It takes around twenty seconds to get hot water with my probably failing 40gal hot water heater. How much longer of a wait should I expect if I switch to a tankless? The only downside I see to tankless hot water heaters is the longer time it takes for water to heat up. I have family members that are very sensitive to the cold in the winter, and who also are rarely patient enough to wait the twenty seconds as it is before washing their hands. If it's going to take 2-3 minutes, I will never hear them stop complaining about doing dishes in cold water.

Also, anything else I should know about switching to a tankless model? I do have hard water, but also a whole house water filter.

EDIT: To clarify things for some people, the reason I assumed there'd be a longer wait is because at a previous house (that was a lemon and went through 3 hot water heaters), the tankless hot water heater would take 1-2 minutes to get hot water to the shower, while the tank hot water heaters would be 10-20 seconds. The tankless and tank hot water heaters were installed in the same place, and it was the same shower.
