Does anyone understand how like.. The concept of talking is "supposed" to work
Idunno if this is more of a rant post or asking for advice or what but I just don't understand how talking works
Like, what are you "supposed" to do when you're talking to someone who isn't autistic? Especially when it's a conversation with more than just 2 people?
Its really bad when there are 2 other people and me in a group because the 2 people will just kind of talk back and forth with like, no clearly defined breaks but as soon as I say something I'm cutting someone off? I just don't understand when the right time to talk is. And then I get called out for it and it just makes me not want to talk because I don't want to cut people off and if I wait until 4 topics from now to say what I was thinking it's just irrelevant at that point. And then because I'm not talking I'm "being too quiet"???
Like, I was basically told to leave the conversation, that's why I'm not really trying to participate anymore?
