1.0 ACTH with 238nmol/L cortisol? Does time of day really affect the outcome that much?

Hi all, I had a huge battery of pituitary endocrine blood tests done as I have an MRI that reported mass effect on my pituitary due to severely enlarged ventricles, I am not shunted

I haven't met with my endocrinologist yet since receiving all my results and among the numbers I got back I was wondering if 1.0pmol/L acth can ever be considered normal? I feel generally ok despite major fatigue and dizzy spells not really what I imagine adrenal insufficiency to cause. Especially since the cortisol was 238?

The draw was done at 3:15 pm so not sure if that would cause the drop, I do have a comparable from 2 years ago which was 8.9pmol/L and 528nmol/L cortisol

The ref range only considered numbers less than 10.2 to be normal so ofc this appeared as normal. Just not sure if that's the end of the story. I know I'm in good hands though

Any insight is appreciated 🙏🙏

Area Zero made this game mesmerizing for me

I know I'm quite late to this but I need to share some thoughts on Area Zero in scarlet and Violet.

I played Scarlet and by the time I got the Area Zero mission I felt like I spent so much time with these characters (mainly because I think my teams were probably weak for the zone)

The music pulls it altogether. The mystery, the descent the secrets being unveiled.

Was it supposed to be really hard? Probably not but for whatever reason I think that challenge actually made me more attached to the experience,

Ok bye

Severe ventriculomegaly causing pituitary compression?

Hi I've been dealing with ongoing scans and follow ups with my specialist for another issue.

Title was one of my MRI findings as my lateral and third ventricles are so enlarged they are affecting both my pituitary sella turcica region and the optic chiasm, but I have no clinical linkage yet for either description...

I recently had an endocrinology appt and a blood test battery which I think I'm still waiting on some results back for, but I was wondering what this is like? I don't want to over intellectualize in a space I really don't know enough about. But I was assuming something would match back to this finding hormonally? Sex hormones, prolactin and tsh (manager with Synthroid) are back in range.

Like I have hashimotos but that's auto immune and with what I got back so far it seems controlled despite how squished it is.

Most people with this condition seem to have surgery immediately and I've just adapted over the years without it?

Can anyone give me some context and reassurance in the meantime before my next appt or next results come back? Symptoms have been pretty heavy fatigue, brain fog and disorientation/balance and overall apathy and Synthroid has helped me a bit with energy levels at least ! Like at least I'm not bed ridden but recovery from exercise is pretty rough despite how hard I try to stay active
