RS660 owners!! any idea where this little rubber piece goes? Fell out while removing the left side fairing
Hey guys, I’m reinstalling the fairings on my 2021 Aprilia RS660 after running some wiring for a dash cam/CarPlay unit.
When I removed the large left-side/upper fairing panel, this small black rubber strip fell onto the floor near the front wheel. I’m pretty sure it came from somewhere around the front/upper fairing or underneath the headlight, but I cannot figure out exactly where it belongs.
It’s a small, slightly curved rubber piece and doesn’t appear to have any adhesive on it. I’ve attached pictures of the rubber piece, the inside of the fairing, and the bike with the fairing removed.
Does anyone recognize this piece or know exactly where it sits? Is it just an anti-vibration/anti-rattle pad between the fairing and another component?
I’m going to reinstall the fairing without it for now and keep the piece, but I’d like to put it back in the correct location once I figure out where it belongs.
