There are quite a few IPOs open/upcoming this week Leap India, Technocraft Ventures, Dhoot Transmission, Molbio Diagnostics, Milky Mist Dairy Food, Shiprocket, etc.
I am more interested in long-term holding rather than just listing gains.
Dhoot Transmission looks promising to me for the long term, given its EV wiring-harness business. If I get an allotment, great otherwise, I would look to buy it at a better valuation.

I applied with maximum capacity for the SBI AMC IPO. Allotment is today (Friday, July 17) and the listing is on Tuesday, July 21.
However critical US data drops right before our listing that could trigger volatility :
Friday, July 17: US Industrial Production and Housing data drops today.
This Weekend: A wave of US Q2 corporate earnings releases.
Monday, July 20: The US Leading Economic Indicators index reports.
If these metrics come in wrong, foreign institutional investors (FPIs) could pull capital from India on Monday.
A broad market dip right before Tuesday could easily crush our listing day premium.
