What's your system for knowing when to follow up after sending a proposal?

Right now I just guess. Send proposal → wait 2–3 days → send a "just checking in" email → usually hear nothing.

Is there a smarter way to time follow-ups? Do you have any signals that tell you a client is still interested vs. already moved on?

Does anyone else's running pace change depending on the song that's playing?

Still pretty new to running (working through the program) and I noticed something weird. When a fast song comes on I kinda speed up without meaning to, and then I get tired way faster. when a slow song plays I naturally slow down too.

Is this a real thing or am I just imagining it? How do you all pick music for runs, or do you not bother with music at all when you're still building up?

Anyone else's running playlist messes with their pace?

Ok this might be in my head but. When a slow song comes on mid run my legs just naturally slow down with it, and then a fast one comes on and i speed up without meaning to, and then my breathing gets all out of sync and i feel wrecked for like the next 5 mins

curious how other people deal with this — do u build playlists around tempo/cadence on purpose, use a metronome or click track, turn music off on certain runs, or just not think about it at all? feels like everyone's got a different system and i wanna know what actually works
