It’s what it sounds like, what franchises do you think should be in games way more than they are? For example, I thought Jeeg, Tobikage and SD Gundam (especially!) were in nearly every older game, but they didn’t get into the franchise proper until Alpha 2, Impact, and UX. For how popular these are and the legacies they have, I would’ve thought these would be mainstays, I especially think Tobikage could be a main plot in games like T, V, or 30. Same goes for Neo Getter and Layzner — but, what are some franchises you think should be in way more entries?

Hey everyone, back again with a follow-up to the prior post! The response to the first post was great, so I’m opening things up even wider. The same spirit applies here, but the rules have been expanded a bit — read before submitting.

Rules:

1.	Most upvoted comments win. Up to 6 franchises from this post will be selected, so make your pitch count. Same as before — name your franchise and describe what spin-off content or side material they could receive as part of the project.

2.	Any franchise is on the table. Death Battle history is no longer a requirement. If you love a series and you think it has a place in a large-scale crossover narrative, pitch it. The only hard rule is that the franchise has to be capable of fitting into a long-form story with actual stakes and character development. Franchises that are purely comedic or gag-driven with no real narrative throughline (think Tom and Jerry) are not eligible. If you’re on the fence about whether something qualifies, pitch it anyway and make the case for how it fits. That’s what the explanation is for.

3.	Including a franchise does not guarantee that its spin-off content, side material, or extended media will appear. Each of those would be considered separately and take up their own slot. Don’t assume that getting your franchise in automatically brings everything attached to it along for the ride.

4.	In your comment, please cover all of the following: why you want this franchise included, what interactions you’re hoping to see with other franchises, what fights or crossover moments excite you, and where this franchise fits within the larger world and narrative. Vague submissions like “I just think it would be cool” are fine as a starting point, but the more detailed and thought-out your pitch, the better your chances of getting  

traction from other readers.

5.	No downvoting. If you disagree with a submission or don’t think it fits, say so in a reply and make your argument.

6.	Each person may only submit one franchise. Choose wisely — you only get one pitch, so make it your best one. Duplicate submissions from the same person will be disqualified.

I was looking on creating a Death Battle fanfiction similar to Super Robot Wars, and while I got 7 franchises decided — I still want more to appear, and I want the community to decide on which franchises to appear. So, here are the rules.

1: Most upvoted comments win, I will be choosing up to 16 — just name a franchise and the possible spin-off content they receive to enter.

2: Franchises that have been featured on Death Battle, Tournament of Champions, Island of Champions, and Champions Poll are all fair game to submit for this, but things like DBC, OMM and Pitches are not.

3: Including said franchise does not guarantee any spin-offs or side material they may have. For example, just because Jujutsu Kaisen is included, it doesn’t mean 0 or Modulo are going to be included — and all three together will take up separate slots.

4: Explain your reasoning on why you want a particular franchise to be included, what interactions you’d like to see, and what potential fights and crossovers, and their place in the world.

5: No downvoting.

Aside from that, ask any questions you have regarding the fanfiction if you have any.
