Transfer Welcome Back Package to New Character
Not sure if this has been posted before though thought I'd share this in case anyone finds themselves in a similar situation to mine.
So I played the game a lot when it first came out though lost interest after a few months. After that I didn't play for months and lost everything. I had a level 85 character with some decent gear which I was able to hold onto despite losing my base and everything else.
Now after a few more months I felt like playing the game again. My original character's world was deactivated so I moved them to a new world. I built a small base, cashed in the Welcome Back package and stored everything in the small base on the new world.
Then I created a new character in a different world and levelled the character up a bit.
To make it a little less cumbersome starting all over I figured out how to let my new character claim everything from the Welcome Back package that my old character received.
This is what I did:
- Switched to the world with my old character. Stored all gear and everything received from the Welcome Back package in chests in the new small base.
- Abandoned the base.
- Deleted the old character.
- Transferred the new character to the same world where I moved the old character.
- Claimed the small base I built with my old character and got access to all the old character's gear and resources received from the Welcome Back package.
Again, I don't know if anyone has posted this before though do with this what you will and hopefully it will help you to enjoy the game again when starting over. :)
