Hi! Looking for a trustworthy mechanic to fix a wheel bearing on my 2005 corolla. I don’t mind traveling around portland. I’ve been to several mechanics and have been scammed out of almost $2k at this point and am pretty frustrated. I know for sure it’s the wheel bearing on the left hand side and only want work done on that. I’m pretty inexperienced with cars and as a woman alone in the city, I don’t feel super confident advocating for myself/ know what is properly priced parts/labor. Does anyone have any recommendations or have est. price points for wheel bearings for the area? TIA!!!!
