Surprised this question has not been asked before in this sub. Who makes the best cookies in town? I don't mind traveling & haven't met a cookie I didn't like so let's hear best overall anywhere in town.

Hello, I am looking for any u-pick wine grapes farms in the wider region. So far, I can only find places that let you pick table grapes, or places with websites that offer zero helpful info/don't seem to exist anymore. So, if anyone knows a u-pick farm for actual wine grapes, that would be sick, thanks!
looking to get a bird tattoo on my arm, kind of like this but I would be okay with them having some creative take on it!! I’m new to the area so I just wanted to ask here :) not really concerned about pricing or anything
I drive around that area a lot for work, and the building (next to Darcelle XV plaza and the Ritz) has seen a lot of activity for the last few months. Big cranes, cooling units, tons of server rack deliveries and other fragile looking stuff. Is the building hosting a datacenter or something?
I'm trying to find any eyeglass shops that carry frames that have magnetic clip on glasses I can try on in store to make sure the frame fits. I have looked at Chemestrie and Eco Eyewear, but I'm struggling to find any shops that actually have test pairs to try on.
One shop I called said I had to 100% commit to buying them because they do not carry them in stock and it's a special order for them. Just trying to see if other people have seen them around town so I don't have to call 50 different places.
Hi Portland - there's a cute calico cat who seems lost and has been lurking around all day yesterday and today. Cat has a Scout.co tag but the QR Code on the back goes to a webpage that says "access denied" so it's not much help. Are they yours? In SE near the "Oriental Apartments"
Yo I live in San Francisco and am a stay at home dad so 99% of my day is spent within 3 feet of a toddler and a baby. So in search of some solo time I’m planning on spending Labor Day weekend in your beautiful city. I’ve been to Portland many times but always with a group.
I love walkable neighborhoods where I can smoke a joint and hop between bookstores, coffee shops, and dive bars where I can chat with bartenders. Unique bar experiences are a plus. Any particular neighborhoods in the city you recommend where I can do this best? Thanks for your help!
Does anyone know whats going on in Cully, I see a ton of cop cars driving around the side streets in North Cully. Its Wednesday August 19th and haven't seen anything posted on the local facebook group.
I just moved here and the bagels are…sad. I saw Henry Higgins bagels were voted best in Portland and I am deeply concerned because I tried one and it was very much a bread bagel. I grew up in dc eating bagels from ny style shops. Looking for recommendations from people who actually lived in ny area and know good bagels please for the best options at least??
Hi Folks!
I am considering finding a new vet and/or behaviorist for my six year old barrier-reactive Shepard mix.
Does anyone have experience and recommendations for the East Side / Gresham area?
Also, if there are vets I should absolutely avoid, please let me know.
Thank you all.
I only need to photograph the outside, it’s for a pixel art project, I’d love reference photos. anyone driving by just a sad, ramshackle old house in the city somewhere that comes to mind? cross streets are fine.
Hi everyone, idk if this is the right place to ask but I've been taking care of my mom for the last couple of years, and keeping up with the house just wasn't a priority. Now she's moving into assisted living and I need to sell the place.
The roof is old, the deck needs work, and the yard looks rough. I don't have the budget to start hiring contractors before selling, and I'd rather not spend months dealing with open houses.
Has anyone in the Portland area sold a house completely as-is? Did you list it or go with a local cash buyer instead?
I just saw Los Burros Supremos has closed (unfortunately hadn’t been there in a few months)…
My family loved that place, anyone know if they moved or something, hopefully?
Hi,
Without going into any details, I’m looking for legal representation. My boss has been paying me illegally for several years. A BOLI claim will take up to 4 years to sort out. I haven’t tried the prom bar association yet, I’m looking for referrals first. I’ve capped a few places who are too full (?) for my claim.
Thanks bunches!

42 F. It would be awesome if you’re around my age and have generally non murdery vibes.
Also if you have any suggestions for food places, I’d love to hear them.
This is just for dinner, nothing else! I like to meet redditors in new places and would like to not eat alone.
Feels like the Whole Foods post-Bezos precipitous falloff. Anyway I know I can drive all the way out to H-mart or Winco, I guess I’m just bitching.
Getting tired of overpaying at the farmer’s markets. Are there any places that are selling heirloom tomatoes for a few dollars per pound?
